Devon-rex Need Input, They Need Company And Love B
Devon-Rex need input, they need company and love being kept busy.
They are beautiful to look at great company but don't expect a lap cat. They have so much energy but will cuddle up when they are tired. They are also very independent. I have two, I would have two dozen if I could.

I Have A Lovely Devon-rex; His Name Is Fudge. Well
I have a lovely Devon-Rex; his name is Fudge. Well, to be more procise, his full Pedigree name is: Rayrex Vanderbilt Fudge - Rayrex is the litter's name, Vanderbilt is the owner's business name (chosen by the owner but specified a category by a breeder) and Fudge is the pet name.
To get one of these you're going to have to be prepared to pay inwards of £200-£305 (on average). You won't find any of these strolling around the streets or being sold off for a few quid down the market! No - these are exotic cats, although first being descovered by Brits in the Devon area.
That's why, in other countries such as Egypt, they are given names such as the 'Haired Spyhnx', but us, being British, just have to stick something about us in there!!!
The money you spend on one of these little creatures will not be regreted, however. These cats are the most adorable things you'll ever come accross. My 3-year old (equivelent to 15 cat-years) Devon-Rex, Fudge, watched telly with me, looks at my computer screen, snores with his eyes open and even sleeps in bed with me!
There are always the down-points - his weird noises (lol) and his hyper-active hour which wakes everybody in the street up at about 3:00 every morning. Then again, it's only for food - it's understandable when the cat's got a stomach as big as a Sumo restler's!
Are Devons less expensive in their native country? In the US the going price is approximately $1000--the equivalent of £618.They are indeed a loving, playful,
contactful, impish, and eye pleasing breed--worth every penny. We have two--Hershey, a mink chocolate point, and Violet, a mink lilac point.
