Aqua One Ocellaris 850 Canister Filter

I read about the above filter on your site. It clearly states that the 850 only runs on 9.7w so I went and purchased one from yourselves a few days ago. It is a very good product and cannot find fault at all apart from one small but possibly costly issue. On the actual packaging, and the filter too, it states that it actually runs at 14w and not 9.7w as claimed. I would be very grateful for an explanation of this.
