Manufacturers' Sold Out
I USED TO ADORE MUSTO PRODUCTS ESPECIALLY THE SNUG RANGE - ALTHOUGH RATHER PRICEY EVEN THEN AND I AM TALKING SOME 18 ODD YEARS) THE FACT THAT THEY WERE BEAUTIFULLY MADE AND OF SUCH HIGH QUALITY YOU COULD BUY THEM IN THE CERTAINTY THAT YOU WOULD STILL HAVE THEM A COUPLE OF YEARS LATER. THEY WASHED WELL, THE COLOUR STAYED TRUE AND THEY DIDN'T SHRINK - OR BECOME BAGGY FOR THAT MATTER. WHATMORE COULD HORSEY WOMEN ASK FOR? but then...
I was told that Musto had moved manufacturing to another country and for me the whole thing began to unravel. The jods were thinner, more expensive, the sizing was wrong and it was damn near impossible to find a black Medium.
Bad show Musto, and despite ypou introducing the ULTIMATE range I am seriously unimpressed.

Musto Snug Jods Are Not As Good As They Were And I
Musto Snug Jods are not as good as they were and I now find they go into holes more quickly, although I still wear them and need 2 pairs a winter. I bought the Musto Ultimate Snugs which are much thicker and warmer, but they don't have the stirrup loop and I find I end up with them bunched up around my knees and have to keep dragging them up around the top of my legs, disappointed and wished they fit better as they are warmer and more robust.

I Bought A Pair Of These Jodhpurs In June This Yea
I bought a pair of these jodhpurs in June this year. My daughter wore them regularly, however, in July, holes in the seat began to appear. She has had many pairs of these previously, and had no such problems until they were at least 2-3 years old. They are very well suited for use in winter as they are warm and quick drying for when it's wet.

Musto Jodhpurs Are Great For Winter Riding But Rat
Musto jodhpurs are great for winter riding but rather thin. The new Ultimate range are thicker and a much better option. The warm fleecy lining feels like heaven when you put them on and is a real comfort on cold winter mornings. I am a chilly person and occasionally I have worn my Mustos underneath my normal jods when it has been really cold. Not an alternative to my cashmere leggings which are the ultimate in winter riding underwear!

These Jods Are Expensive And They Are Not Robust.
These jods are expensive and they are not robust. However, they are warm and easy to wear and I like the high waist, so I keep buying them. I get through 2 pairs every winter although this year my last year's ones may have to do.

I Love These Jods, There Easy To Wear And Care For
I love these jods, there easy to wear and care for and feel like a second skin. Great for distance riding and for winter, especially as you can put full chaps over them and you dont feel bulky. I agree with the other comment "Bring Back Beige!". I'm now on my 4th pair and will keep buying them.

Musto Snug Jodphurs Give Good All Round Winter Per
Musto Snug Jodphurs give good all round winter performance, but you need a couple of pairs each winter, hence this makes them a bit expensive.
The worst thing is that they no longer make them in beige for competitions, which is when most people want them. Come on MUSTO, what's going on here? I will buy several pairs for competitions if they make them in beige again.

Musto Snug Jodphurs Are A Great Idea In Theory, Jo
Musto Snug Jodphurs are a great idea in theory, jods that keep you warm. The only problem being that the material used to keep you warm is not particularly suitable for riding.
I would advocate these jods mainly for yard work as when they are transferred to the saddle they are not as impressive as first thought.
The material is, as promised exceptionally warm, but it is also exceptionally slippy in the saddle, especially so on my large moving Warm blood.
The seam of the jods runs from back to front, between your legs the extra bulk here obviously causing some discomfort (especially in the rising trot), when riding.
If the jods are used and washed regularly as they were with me as I ride everyday, they soon become threadbare and "holey" on the seat area.
The material also does not offer the suport of a "regular" pair of jods/breeches and feels more like a pair of leggings as the strappings are too small and too far down the leg.
Little extras added to most jods/breeches these days are also missing from these jods, zipped pockets and clarino seat or strappings for example
They do come in a good range of colours including ink and winter red (a bright pink) which would be useful for riders on the road due to their brightness. And they are a reasonable price, for the amount of wear you get.
Maybe the problems stem from Musto being first and foremost a retailer of sailing/yachting clothing and mainly adapting that sports clothing for equestrians, this way of working is great for coats and jackets but for something as specialist as jods they unfortunately miss the mark.
