Snowdon Riding School, Derbyshire

I have been riding at Snowden for over 2 years now and I love it. The horses are well cared for and the tuition is excellent. I have gained confidence and skills that I know I wouldn't have got at other riding schools. The group lessons vary week by week and are challanging for all ability riders as well as fun. The indoor school is excellent especially in the cold winter months however when it is sunny lessons are conducted outside. The horses vary from novice rides to more advanced rides. Many of the horses are not 'ploddy' riding school horses and give you great experience of riding different ability horses. The school caters for adult beginners which I found to be a great benefit and I wasn't the only beginner in the lessons. The best thing about the school is that everyone is really friendly and they put you at ease.

I have been riding at Snowdon farm for nearly 4 years, and have learned so much more than at any other riding school I have been to. The standards and facilities are extremely high and the hour long lessons are varied in exercises, witch test the riders. There are also horses of all ages and experience which suit all riders.

I had been riding for 3 years before my old riding school shut down, and I had to find a new one. In my first (1hr group) lesson at Snowdon I learnt more than I had in the previous 3 years. I have been riding there ever since (11years) and have benefited enormously from their instruction and experience. The only problem is, it sets a pretty high standard, and nowhere else I've ridden (on holidays etc) has ever matched up.
