I Have Had Several Ferrets From Mercia Ferret Resc
I have had several ferrets from Mercia ferret rescue and have found that the ferrets have always been good to handle and exceptionally friendly and playful. I have contacted Rose over the years about several problems and always found the advice helpful. I am sorry that they have given up the rescue as I feel that the ferret who arrived in Mercia welfare and rescue was given a good chance of survival and love. I would like to thank you for our past and present ferrets with whom we have had so much pleasure. Steph

They are a small concern with a huge heart and truely deserve all the support they can get.

All The Ferrets That They Re-home Are Well Handled
All the ferrets that they re-home are well handled by experienced people intensively before they are decided tame enough to be re-homed. All ferrets in Mercia Ferret Welfare's care too sick, old or untame/ traumatised to be rehomed are permanently looked after; they never put down a healthy ferret. They also run shows to show off your pampered pet as well as being always happy to help encase something goes wrong. As if all that isn't enough they also do a boarding for when you go away on holiday to ensure your pet gets the best possible care. Jonathan Ross got his ferrets here.
M. F. W. Mercia Ferret Welfare and Rescue in Coventry is a fantastic rescue centre! We were unable to care for a family members ferrets, and this lady was happy to care for them, She also gave us lots of reassurance that they would be well looked after. After visiting her and seeing the ferrets in her care we were happy they were in the best place, and they would spend the rest of their days with a knowledgeable and caring owner.
I salute organisations such as this. Very well done, keep up the good work! As Spike Milligan said "Every living thing deserves a chance." (Jonathan Ross included).
