Absolutely Appalling

So after being advised I would receive a refund 10 days after it was processed .. guess what I am still waiting

I was initially told on 20.11 I was due a refund - not received .I complained and got this :

Please accept my apologies that you are still waiting for your refund, after checking with our Finance Department I have been informed that, due to a small back log of refunds, there will be a slight delay and your payment will be processed as soon as they are able. Please be advised that this has been escalated on your behalf. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact date for you.

Once again, please accept my sincere apologies for the further delay and inconvenience caused to you.

Absolute twaddle. No call centre to answer calls when most of the country is working from home and have managed to get their calls diverted and stay open ...

Needless to say I will keep logging complaints and will go to the aombudsman .

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

They Do Not Refund Credit

As with everyone else who are trying to get accounts in credit refunded I am getting nowhere. Promises promises and then nothing happens.

I have now, after 4 months, issued a formal complaint. This will allow me to go to the Ombudsman in 8 weeks.

I suggest anyone with credit with Utility Point, which has not been refunded in 10 working days, registers a formal complaint straight away to shorten the time you can go to the Ombudsman.

Takes a minimum of 30 minutes to get through on the phone.

Don’t reply to emails.

Manager never calls you back despite promises.

Closed my account on 5th September and they still took TWO further payments from my account and now refuse to contact me to sort it out.

A huge bunch of chancers !

Faultless

Faultless services after 6 months of using and saving me a fortune compared to the big service providers. You have to do your own meter readings, but it is worth it for the money I have saved. Heard in the near future they are rolling out smart meters.

If you use code "Olive95500" on signing up, you will get £25 credit on your account.

Excellent Company With Good Communications And Great Tariffs

After looking for a company to switch to, I came across Utility Point and have been very pleased with the service. Nothing is too much trouble for them and communications are excellent. Would recommend to anybody and also to receive a £25 bonus.
