Don’t Do It

I agreed a contract for electricity. The company I signed with them wrote to me to say they couldn’t honour the contact at the prices I agreed. They give me the option to cancel which I did. I then received an email from a company representing great annual savings to tell me I had defaulted on the agreement and had to pay nearly £3000. I had loads of evidence to back me up but they would not accept it and threatened me with court. Stay week clear

This company lost me a great deal and wasted 6 months of my time and in the mean time the electricity prices have shot up. I had to push the rep who came to my shop to keep chasing up the deal but he never did anything even though he said he was on it. He has now retired and left me up the csnal without a paddle..I have emailed them several times and phoned them both, who both say they will get back to me but dont. I don't get an answer on the phone anymore. Now I have gone elsewhere for my electricity and to a more professional outfit..

Great Annual Savings - Absolute Joke Of A Company

I worked with one of the Great Annual Savings (GAS) customer service personnel to change both gas and electric for my local cricket club in order for this small business to save on energy bills. I went through the whole process of obtaining the MPF for the gas and the supply number for electricity. Gained authotity to act on behalf of the cricket club, organised new rates, had contracts signed on my behalf for a new fixed term contract of 36 months (took a while as the person in charge of my account was lazy and unresponsive). Great I thought! erything is in place. So I left it at that. Six months later we hit the COVID lockdown era and it is only now that the large bills are coming through that we discover that nothing was put in place. It seems the customer service personnel took the commission and ran! Whilst not putting in plae the new tarriffs for the cricket club. I have esculated this with the (GAS) bandits, further action will be sought via trading standards too. Do not fall fowl to their incomapeteance.

We are in the same boat we have a solicitor who says we have a case

They have sent me a threatening email saying that my gas contract didn't go live in January and that our sports club now owes them £6000 + vat in stranded energy costs. And if I don't arrange payment it will be passed onto a debt collection company. I'm worried and not sure who can help.

Avoid At All Costs

Great annual savings are an absolute unhelpful joke of a broker. Their rep came to my business at a time i was struggling and pretended to help, all the while trying to get me into signing a contract even though i told him numerous times i did not need a new contract as i had 12 months on the current one. He then had his associate call and fly through the fine print i was then sent a gas and electricity contract that were both way HIGHER than the ones i was currently on, i have complained and told great annual savings this is not what was agreed to and that the contract is not what i wanted and the only response i got was from the rep who was the one who dealt with me in the first place! I am taking my case to trading standards and i will be getting solicitors involved!

DO NOT USE GREAT ANNUAL SAVINGS

They all seem to be in on it as i complained the day the contract was sent to me and nobody has taken charge and sorted it out

They are trying the same with me saying i owe 3000 plus vat because the contact didn't go live

Ignorant, Disgusting Ripoffs

i've received numerous calls from GAS, or Great Annual savings in the past 3-4 weeks. I generally never write reviews and i do receive a lot of nonsense calls but i hang up - however, it was the manner and professionalism of their calls team was horrible. Horrible toned, impolite and utterly disgusting.

After i informed them that i did not want to change my supplier and i didn't care for their business services, he just wouldn't stop - i certainly wouldn't recommend a company that does not vet their telesales staff to treat potential clients in a professional manner
