Very Poor & Unreliable Service

Ordered oil on 11th November for delivery on 25th November. Received a phone call on 25th @ 09:13 to say it’ll be within 2hours, nope it never came. Phoned them on 26th, apparently a 6 wheeler is too big & a 4wheeler was needed even though we have articulated lorries, large tractors with trailers & the likes using the same road without issues. Email received on 26th for 31st delivery, this was changed by another email to say it’s was being brought forward to27th. Yep you guessed it, no delivery followed by yet another email on the 30th to say it’ll now be 03rd November. Absolute shambles & will not use again

Ery Poor Customer Service

Very poor customer service - I ordered 1400 litres of oil, having amended my order from 800 litres. All was going well and they had been helpful. However, despite an email confirming this and saying that the exact same email had been sent to the supplier, Lovell Fuels, Lovell Fuels only delivered the 800 litres and both parties refused to honour the original contract for 1400 litres. I spoke to an advisor at Valeoils who sounded keen to help and then ignored all my numerous follow up calls and emails for a month. When I finally spoke to Valueoils they said there was nothing they could do but were adamant the fault lay with Lovell Fuels, who were also not willing to help. All in all a very poor experience and please avoid using them. It is a shame that Lovell Fuels also weren't more honourable in this situation, as I have used them for many years and they have always been helpful and given a good service, but unfortunately not this time.

Value For Money

No Oil Delivery

I ordered oil last month and was advised that it would be delivered by today. I then received a text message from Emo oil to say that they would deliver my oil yesterday. No oil delivery. When I contacted Emo Oil they told me that it is scheduled for tomorrow. No apologies. No attempt to try to deliver it today leaving us with an empty tank, no heating and no hot water.

Needles to say we won't be ordering from Value Oils again. Customer service is non-existent.

Avoid - Unreliable And No Communication On Order

First time I have used Value Oils for my home heating, and it will be the last. Very bad management of the order. I have received no communication on developments of the order and have had to chase and chase without any feedback. Today, after 19 days since placing the order, and hearing nothing about the order, I called again. This time, the day of the delivery, I am told there is a delay. Shortly after my call I received an email that my delivery date might be a further 7 days away. The excuse, CoVid and the cold weather. Interestingly the few positive ratings over the last couple of days are for an on time delivery - seems CoVid and the cold weather aren't a problem for some deliveries?? But, why was I not told that when I first called to check on my order over a week ago, or during any of the other follow up calls - I have made 4 calls. Interestingly reading reviews this lack of communication and delivery dates missed has been a long standing problem. I do not recommend and will never use them again. Back to my original supplier, they have never missed a promised delivery date, cold weather and CoVid included.
