I transferred to Zog about a year ago - pretty much the cheapest gas prices out there and unbeatable customer service. I look after 2 zog accounts - my own and my elderly mum's and on the rare occasions when there was an issue I emailed them and they always responded within an hour - incredible service.

Bills are very clear and come every month like clockwork and you can submit readings any time (they recommend monthly). Readings are submitted online and customer service is by email, but the important thing is their system, though simple, just works.

In June 2015, my gas tariff with SSE came to an end but after shopping around, I came across Zog Energy. I was a little nervous because I had not heard of them but the company appeared on a price comparison site for energy. They come near the top if not the cheapest on the market.

I decided to give them a go and chose the Mercury 24 tariff, a 24 month fixed tariff for a very competitive price. The switch went smoothly and Zog supply monthly statements which I feel are clear.

Overall I am very happy with Zog so far and would encourage people to look at smaller energy companies for energy.
