Is there any way to rate as zero or negative stars?

I bought $5 quality card 2 days ago, the web site claims a calling rate of 0.4 cents per minute to China. After I made 2 phone calls, first call 3 minutes, 2nd call 15 minutes, there is only $1 left in the card.

I called their support and emailed them a few times, no response. Today I called again, the rep told me that there is a little "more info" link somewhere in their website. She showed me that "more info" states that there is $0.8 charge for each call, and there is $0.7 maintenance fee, etc.

Stay away from this company if you can!

I bought a 10$ card to make calls to dubai. its not connecting at all. This isnt the first time am facing this issue. When i call customer care, wow whatta response they give. Such a worst customer care i have ever talked to. FRIENDS"DO NOT BUY ON ALOSMART"

I bought a ALO Express $10.00 card and got half of the minutes that they promised. Called support and got to know that there is a maintenance fees applied per week and also there is a multiple call fees.

In addition to that, you would be charged with taxes from your balance if you are calling through a toll-free number.

So the trick is that you do not buy a $10.00 card. You buy a BLUE Diamond $5.00 card (because that is the cheapest one I guess) and make a call for the full balance of 60 minutes without disconnecting it to get the promised call minutes. Crazy, huh?

If you disconnect the call and call again, a multiple call fees would be applied. Obviously I cannot keep talking to any of my relatives for 60 minutes continuously, so this card is certainly not for me.

I would have been okay with it if they had displayed all the information on the overview page itself. You have to click to 'more info' to see the hideous fees details.

Also I did not like the support guys who sounded angry with themselves.

We all should file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission about this company using false advertisement to rip off consumers. They advertised 2.9 cents per minute, but charged me 16 cents per minute when I called using my $10 purchase.

THIS COMPANY IS RUBBISH! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!

if anybody ever is thinking of buying phonecard from alosmart.com, pls avoid. Worked fine in the first purchase and not anymore at all in the second, and customer service is not helping at all. i am terribly unhappy with this .

Worst Card ever and it only gives you half the minutes.. and when you call customer service, they will put you on hold and vanish....Lost only five bucks of my money..please be careful and do not loose your money to these con artists...

Their calling cards are rip off. I timed the calls every time and before it gets to half the time it declares I hear "one minute is remaining for this call". Never buy any of their cards.

I am writing a review because after reading some of the reviews on this site, I was hesitant to try AloSmart.com. I wanted to take the risk since they have on their website "100% satisfaction" which means if I do not like it i can return it and get my money back. I did try the Pinless Platinum Card, the other cards had description like "good for long calls". Anyways, The Pinless card was like it was advertised. No fees, no taxes, nothing added. It was simple to use, and after first use it automatically recognized my phone number and there was no need for me to enter the pin number. I love the Pinless Card, i can not say anything about the other cards. So i do recommand Alosmart.com and their Pinless Platinum card.

A complete waste of time and money! The card I bought allowed me 4 hours and 38 minutes. I spoke for about 30 mins. Next time I was trying to call I had only 3 hours left!!! "POOR" is too good to describe the quality of the call. I lost the recepient of the call for periods of time, as long as a minute! The other party had the same problem that they couldnt hear me. I am definitely going to cancel this service, and I hope its not going to be another pain!

I have been using Alosmart on and off for the last 9 years. I was never as satisfied as now with the Pinless Platinum card. I bought a card and used it. there were $21.72 left on the account. I went back home and came back after 3 month and I wanted to use the card again. To my surprise there were $21.72 left on it. They charge nothing , no fees no maintenance... Finally i found a card that i can use anytime i want. I recommend that you try the Pinless Platinum card and not the other cards on the site.
