New card, has one minute credit. Helpline not working.

Purchased this card for the first time ever(£10). When numbers are dialled, it kept repeating "your call cannot be connected" over and over again. Called the customer service and the goon tried pretending that he could not hear what I was saying.

Tough it is ten pound, I will, definitely, make the effort to complain to trading standard; and everyone should do the same.

The calling cards are now fake when I bought ten pounds worth calling cards could not reach.

I have purchased UK Post Office International phone cards many times in the past. However experienced problems when trying to use in June 2015. For the first time it was necessary to find a COIN OPERATED PHONE which is not easy, insert 60p to connect, which is not very much money, using the 0207 number. The intention was not having to use coins at all. Worked most of the time from a private phone on the 0800 number, although once this did not work either. Found it very frustrating as I had to keep asking my landlady if I could use her phone. Customer services were not much help on a weekend as they would call back within 48 hours to a phone number, if I had a phone I won't have needed a phone card! That was before I found out about using 60p to start with. The card is still a better option than feeding a whole lot of coins into the slot, just be prepared to be frustrated.

Just does not work for me even though my pass number is correct phone always says wrongheaded no.

Would never buy again nor recommend

Very easy to purchase but absolutely useless. A £5 phonecard which normally gives 35 minutes to a Ghanaian mobile phone gave 21 mins. Then would not connect a single call, each attempt took 1 minute from the card. Finally was left with 13 minutes of which 8 were used on an actual call.

8 minutes out of 35? Total rip off

Ive just tried to call a mobile number in south africa using a post office card , i think ive done things correctly on the card , rings the other end but just keeps ringing ,ive text the person and the phone doesnt ring the other end , ive tried several times to ring but nothing , am i doing everything right?

Ive been purchasing post office phone cards every couple of months for for over 3yrs,everything was fine,until last year I went to Airdrie post office,purchased a card,got home scratched the code panel and there was no number left underneath,back to p.o explained and after 10 minutes trying to get a replacement,the cashier eventually gave me another one,I said that I would scratch it b4 leaving p.o to discover that it did the same thing,she said,must be a faulty batch,so got another and it was ok.Bought one last week,happened again,these cards are utter rubbish.No more.

I bought the phone card to call my daughter in Spain..9 times out of 10 I could not get through. If I phoned without the card ..you guessed it..I got through. When I phoned the help line I too got fobbed off...someone would ring me within 24 hrs but yep you guessed it again..no one called to help solve the problem.. I WILL NOT BOTHER WASTING ANYMORE MONEY ON THESE CARDS OR THE RUBBISH SERVICE I GOT FROM THE POST OFFICE.I will look elsewhere now...and I work in a post office.! 0/10 for the card -10 /10 for the service p.s had to do a one star rating...it was mandatory!
