The Machine Is Easy To Use, Compact And Stylish.
The machine is easy to use, compact and stylish. I can produce reasonably good bread easily and cheaply. However, I purchased it partly on the recommendation that the retracting paddle overcame some of the problems experienced with other machines; in practice the paddle always ends up embedded in the loaf - difficult to remove and leaves a large hole.
It has never produced a pale, soft crusted loaf, no matter what colour setting I use, or whether I reduce the amount of sugar in the standard recipes.

I Really Like This Morphy Richards 48245 Bread Mak
I really like this Morphy Richards 48245 bread maker, i have used a few in the past and this one is the best. I found it easy to use and made lovely bread. I had read a few reviews that the crust settings were too dark, This is most definately not the case. I like soft light crusts and the setting was absolutely spot on. I can only assume the people with this issue are not using the correct setting or ingredience. Reccomended...
