Broke After Just A Year

Considering the price of this breadmaker I wasn't expected parts to break after just a year. The mounting shaft of the machine has broken and the bread pan doesn't stay in place. As a consequence the kneading step is not well done and the bread does not rise correctly.

It works well and does a decent bread, but quality of the machine is not worth the price.

It’s A Little Bigger Than I Anticipated

It’s a little bigger than I anticipated, but not so that I was disappointed. It looks great and has so many different functions, menus and settings. Fortunately, the manual is very good and explains everything in clear, simple steps. Not only does the manual tell you all the machine can do, but it also gives a good selection of recipes of breads

Get Baking!

Nothing compares to home baked bread and I had always wanted a breadmaker. After settling on this one I was not disappointed. Simple to use, failproof breadmaking. I am starting to get more experimental with my ingredients now! Worth every penny, soft fluffy loaves, all warm and delicious, really recommended.

Use Your Loaf!

Ordered this a few weeks ago from Amazon and I've used it practically every day since it arrived. The bread is always absolutely perfect and the instruction are clear and detailed. The yeast dispenser is great and clean up never a chore. Only one problem with it actually - my tummy's getting a bit large thanks to all the bread I'm eating!

Panasonic Breadmaker

Got the Panasonic bread maker the other day made 6 loaves up to now and they have all come out perfect, but I am someone who reads the instruction and if you do that you can't go wrong, I've even used it to make a bloomer bloomer dough and it came out great, love the nuts and yeast dispenser, as for the paddle sticking simply pour a drop of oil through it, or if it is stuck put some washing up liquid in the tin and fill with hot tap water, leave for 10 mins and it comes out dead easy, I have a very small bottle brush which I poke through the paddle and just go wiggle wiggle and it good to go, if you want a bread maker get this one.

One That Really Works

Use to have many years ago a Panasonic bread maker but had varied results ending up with selling the machine and abandoning the whole idea of home bread making. Problem seemed to be the yeast affecting the Rising of dough.

After several years of buying bread and seeing the prices going ever higher we decided to have another look. Read reviews and noticed that most bad reviews seem to centre around the yeast problem. Then found a good forum that basically said it was when the yeast was added to the process that caused the most failures. So started to wonder if any of the manufactures had addressed this issue. Found a number of reviews that were all positive about this new Panasonic SDZB2502 model. Well here's another and this machine has restored our interest in home bread making. It even has simple program setting for small, medium and large size bread making.

It has a yeast dispenser that introduces the yeast at the right moment and it works. Previous reviews had mentioned that the nut dispenser needed a stronger spring, this seems to have now been corrected by Panasonic.

Also mentioned is how hot the sides get when its at the final stage of baking, well it does get quite warm but not enough to cause physical harm, no more than an average cooker door.

It maybe one of the more expensive machines but it looks good and it does the job perfectly. Will now try out some of the myriad of different types of bread that are listed in the very easy to follow instruction book.

Other uses are cake mixing and some other types of dough making which will require the final baking in a traditional oven, so will try the Pizza dough sometime soon.

As to the finished product, don't see us buying bread again, the results are perfect light bread with taste and aroma.

Found a very good deal online at Electrical 123.
