Owned Since 2010 - Are All Aeg Double Ovens This Bad?
I have owned this oven since 2010 and replaced the main oven element and fan 7 times at a cost of £490 for parts only. which is almost as much as the oven cost! and does not account for labour charges.
The after sales is dubious, with the element being replaced a month after purchase under warranty, but the engineer using an element he had in his van which I later discovered when it blew again was not the correct element.
The oven has a cooling setting to allow the element to cool after use, however the elements only last between 12 and 18 months and the fan has to be replaced each time as this is pro-ported to be the cause of the element failure, so the cost of replacement is increased, it has yet again blown and the cost of parts now is £100 this has increased since my last order and I think marks the end of its life.
MY ADVICE STEER CLEAR OF AEG ...
