Bad Product, Appaulling Service

Broke on fourth use. Clearly a faulty product. Customer Services tried to blame those who fitted the product saying it was impossible for a hob to break to easily. We had evidence (photos) of perfect the hob looking perfect post fitting. Just a shame that all it did was look good. When we did finally manage to book a engineer, they failed to turn up. After numerous calls, repeatedly being cut off, being put on hold for hours, we got a second appointment for a service engineer. I am shocked a quite how shoddy their goods and attitude in general is. I would not recommend a Hotpoint hob to anyone.

Great Hob, Poor Service.

The hob itself is great, and when working, is ultrafast at heating up. It does make a humming noise when all 4 elements are on, but it's not too distracting.

The big problem is the service support from Hotpoint/Indesit. The Engineers seem to little or nothing about these hobs, and as many of the parts have to come from Italy, you can wait for an age. The repair team promise to update/contact you, but they never do.

So you will be really happy if you buy one of these hobs, but just hope it doesn't break!

Poor Product, Terrible Aftercare

I purchased 6 Hotpoint units when refitting my kitched in July 2011. Both the Openspace oven and Induction hob became faulty within 2 months. They look great and would be easy to use, if they worked. The Hotpoint after care is apalling and despite 5 calls from various engineers the Induction hob still does not work at all. Hotpoint appear to be diliberately making resolving the issue as difficult as possible. Hotpoints after care is worse than their product.

Induction Is So Quick And Energy Efficient (only H

INDUCTION IS SO QUICK AND ENERGY EFFICIENT (ONLY HEATS WHEN THE PAN IS PUT ON )AND HEAT SOON DISAPATES SO LITTLE CHANCE OF GETTING BURNT.

THE HOTPOINT IS STYLISH, EASY TO CLEAN AND LOOKS GOOD SET INTO WORKTOP.

ONLY SLIGHT DRAWBACK IS THE PANS MUST BE MAGNETIC BUT THE COST WILL BE RECOVERED BY SAVINGS ON ELECTRICITY.
