My two LG appliances, a microwave and a fridge. The microwave bulbs get so hot it melts the plastic covers. They've turned a dark brown. Can't find replacement bulbs. No one around who services LG in Calgary. The fridge, a similar problem. The switch stopped working, that turns the light bulbs off. So even when the doors are shut the lights stayed on. Caused the covers to melt.

LG appliances are of poor quality. I own four and all have broken within 6 months of use. I would never recommend any LG appliances.

LG MC-806BL - I have owned my microwave for one year and have recommended it to several of my friends. I purchased this particular model having read a 'Which' review.
It is excellent as a small convection oven when cooking for my 2 small children.
Frozen pizza (but not deep-pan style) is excellent when cooked on auto-cook feature - nicely browned on top, not cold in the middle, and never burnt round the edges. Ready in 9-11 mins!
Comprehensive recipe book supplied.
