Tesco SB1 SS

I purchesd A Tesco own SBI SS Convection Microwave with a grill and dual operations at a sale price of £69.94. The first machine I had for one day was unbeleivably noisy and was taken back. The second I had for 17 months. It malfunctioned and I discovered a cakemix baking on convection oven only had the grill on at the same time, made an unbeleivably loud noise with the metal casing rattling under the presumably the intense heat. The cake top was burnt and it had been in the oven for 9 minutes. I detected the smell of burning whilst in another room. It should have baked for 40 minutes. I contacted Tesco Electrical and was told it is out of warranty and would be more expensive to repair it than it is worth. I have since been told that there is a EU legislation that warranty is for 2 years. I am awaiting a written letter to Mr Leahy to be answered. Meanwhile Tesco told me NOT TO USE IT.
