No Back Up Service

Pot worked great for around 12 months when the stoneware pot developed a crack across the base. Despite trying to get help/info from the company, they never responded. Non existent customer care even though the guarantee stated it was for 2 years.

When Things Go Wrong Got No Help

To begin with I liked this pot and used it regularly for about 12 months. Around the 12 months it developed a crack right across the bottom of the stoneware pot. The Guarantee is for 2 years and it says go to the dealer you purchased it from. This was Tesco Direct - they only deal with guarantees up to one year so the were NOT INTERESTED. The web site and email address on the back of the instruction booklet don't work - again Tesco were no help with this either.

My mother's slow cooker is 37 years old and still used on a regular basis...it's a Tower.

If I knew Tesco would be so unhelpful and the guarantee was no good, I certainly would not have purchased this product.

If You're Going To Go For A Crockpot , This Rival

If you're going to go for a crockpot , this Rival SCV655 Slow Cooker is a jolly nice pot & you'll be grateful every time you wash it up. Results very good so far & cooking preparation time is minimal. It would be better with a timer for delayed starts but you can get plug in timers from a diy store.
