I Was Given The Dualit Marmite Toaster As A Weddin

I was given the Dualit Marmite toaster as a wedding present and foolishly gave away my cheap 15 year old Boots Cookshop toaster which toasted well. This is the worst toaster I have ever owned. It toasts unevenly and inconsistently. It is an encironmental disaster as I have thrown away so much toast that it burnt even when on exactly the same settings and same bread that it had done okay before. You cannot fit anything other than very standard shaped bread in it. If anything is slightly different shape it will jam in and create loads of mess.

Dualit customer service only help was to ask me to send it back to them and incur the costs myself for their faulty product. High price, hopeless product, appalling customer service. Don't buy this unless it is for decoration only.

I Have Spoken To Customer Services Several Times A

I have spoken to customer services several times and am now in complete dispair at their negative responses. I do not expect to pay £115 for a complete load of rubbish. Also. it cost me £7 to return it only for them to return it saying there is nothing wrong with it. I wish I had bought several toasters which would have probally lasted me for a lifetime for much less. I must add for my own protection that this is solely my own experience of buying from Dualit and not influenced in any other way whatsoever from any third parties.

I Purchased A 115 Pound Dualit Special Edition Mar

I purchased a 115 pound Dualit Special Edition Marmite Toaster from their website 6 months ago it worked perfectly for that period then all it would do was warm the toast and not brown it at all. I tried numerous times with the setting on full and it would still only warm. the only way it would toast is if i put the toast in twice on full. i sent it back 2 weeks ago and have just received their reply which suggests that i preheat the toaster before putting in the toast,. as i had already tried that i know it is not going to work. i can only assume the toaster has fixed itself? as i have only had this product for a short while and for 6 months being used a least once a day with no probs whatsoever i am very upset that i was not offered a new replacement or refund. when i bought this product i thought it would last for years because it was so expensive, i feel i have been let down very badly. i have tried speaking to customer services again and they seem un-prepared to help at all. i have written this to make other potential buyers of any dualit products to bear this in mind when considering purchasing from this company. as i have said this is my opinion only and i am sure there must be other satisfied customers.
