Never Received Item! 15 Days And Counting....
Cannot comment on this item as I have never received anything from Russell Hobbs although have paid considerable amount of money for an order placed. Customer service is appalling, keep phone to find out where my product is and keep getting fobbed off. They have taken the money and I have waited 15 days so far and had to chase the item myself, getting no response from anyone. Would never use this company again.

Problem Resolved!!!
This is the best place I could find to review my RH 2 slice toaster. It was given as a gift about 15 months ago and it gave up the ghost for no apparent reason last week. My immediate reaction was - another product that packs in just after the warranty expires (how many times does that happen these days!!).
As it had been very lightly used I decided to contact RH direct (I didn't know where it had been purchased anyway)and their response was amazing.
Firstly they pointed out that the product was actually under 2 years warranty and not 1. Then without any further ado they very kindly offered to send me an identical replacement - no fuss.
The toaster has arrived today.
The original worked fine until it packed up but I can only give 4* because it didn't last long.
BUT I GIVE 5* to RUSSELL HOBBS FOR THEIR FABULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE.

A Toaster That Doesn't!
I have had this toaster for one year now. It gets used quiet a lot because there are teenagers in the house, and it is still working fine. The price was good and I needed a toaster the same day, so I bought it. However, my biggest gripe is that this toaster does not toast the whole slice of bread! The slots are not deep enough to accommodate a standard UK slice of bread, resulting in the top one inch sticking out. If you want the whole slice toasted, you have to stop the thing and turn the bread around - which is seriously naff. The only bread that will fully fit into the slots are the so called white 'toaster' loaves which have a square slice - no good if you like wholemeal.
