Kenwood SB307 Pro Smoothie Maker

I thought this would be a great addition to my kitchen - how wrong was I!

Didn't do anything special and was so difficult to clean.

Gave it away in the end to a friend who collects kitchen gadgets.

This "was" a great mixer.....unitl the jug got a crack in it. Tried to get a replacement jug. Kenwood support were next to useless and it appears that there are no parts available for this machine.

Support never returned phone calls. I guess they did not like to deliver bad news.

So, when I found out that I would not be able to replace the cracked jug, the motor went to landfill.

You pay the extra to be delivered the extra. Not so from Kenwood in this case.

I would not recomend this machine. I am also leaning towards not recomending Kenwood as a brand after this experience with poor quality on no support.

I've had this Kenwood SB307 Pro Smoothie Maker for 2 years now and am amazed to see any negative comments. I use it nearly everyday, it has never broken or malfunctioned!! It does the job very well!

It has a powerful motor that blends whole un-peeled fruit and veg with ease and very quickly too. I like the fact it has a tap which makes it very convenient to use. It is easy to clean. As I said it does the job quickly and efficiently, what more do you need?!!!

The only thing I could think of was that the jug is heavy, but it's not too heavy by any means, after all it is heavy solid glass and I'd much rather have something sturdy that lasted

Would not buy the Kenwood SB307 or reccommend it, sorry. After about 7-10 uses it leaks through the bottom of the jug where the lugs on the removable base(not sure why?) break off in normal use.

Got a replacement and exactly the same thing happened again. Poor design, also no jug replacement available.

If you're looking for a machine you can count on for great margaritas, or iced drinks of any kind. Buy it for your party.

If you're looking to buy it for a long term investment, forget it!

The box should read "DISPOSABLE DISPENSING BLENDER"
