Kinetico K2 Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System

I've recently had a Kinetico K2 Reverse Osmosis drinking water system installed as our entire house has now been put on soft water. I was debating whether or not to leave one of the pipes servicing hard water supply still however this would have been tricky and meant the entire house wouldn't have been on soft water as we wanted. Therefore we went for the drinking water system as one of my friends had a drinking tap in his kitchen and he swears by it. Well best decision made! I now feel like I don't have to rinse out whatever I'm drinking water in loads of times and don't feel like the cold water tap needs to run for a bit first. The drinking tap means that purified chilled water comes out immediately and it's no doubt saving us water but also saving our bodies from consuming so many hidden chemicals and other rubbish that's in normal everyday hard water. Our kettle is now being filled up with this and the reduction in limescale in it is becoming very noticeable. This was only a few hundred pounds on top of our bill for the soft water installation but is already proving to be money well spent. I thought we might of needed a K5 as we're a family of three (plus I get through a lot of water as it's all I really drink at home) however the K2 can provide more than enough water at any single given time.
