EcoWater ESM11+ Water Softener

This replaced an old water softener by a different manufacturer. It was purchased from J M Softeners Ltd of Reading who were very helpful over the telephone and were happy to discuss the pros and cons of other makes without trying to influence my choice. As I had installed one before I collected it from their offices and installed this one without any problem. We have a cold water tank in the roof and it took a few days before we started noticing the difference in the water but now have fully softened water and would not be without it. The machine is quiet, runs efficiently and uses very little water on regeneration, a vast improvement on the old machine. I fully recommend this product and the supplier.

We had a softener from jm softeners in our old house for about eight years when we moved we really noticed the difference. My son developed sore skin on the backs of his knees and I spent all my time cleaning as everything looked gungy. Within a week skin comfort had improved, taps and showers started to function properly and I didn't have to pour soda water onto my kitchen surfaces to get them to look clean. JM softeners did some clever engineering which means that we still have hard water, which tastes better, coming through the water cooler in the fridgefreezer as well as the extra tap on the sink, so everyone is happy.

Its a water softener for heavens sake, how can I get that excited about something that sits in the garage and is meant to be ignored? The water comes out soft, it feels different when I wash my hands, my wife says her hair washes better. I suspect that the water now flows better through our taps as the old limescale dissolves away. We have had it a month and it replaces a different softener that I now realise has never worked that well.

The person from JM Softeners [they were suggested to me by my plumber] answered all our questions very helpfully and intelligently. He installed it the same day, with the minimum of fuss. He gave us excellent service, and I recommend them.

It was installed by JM Softeners of Reading within 24 hours of ordering, replacing an old unit which was already in the house when we purchased it. I find the remote Control very useful and a great gadget to show off! (our unit is in the garage).

Uses only one bag of Salt every 3 Months! and our water is brilliantly soft.Ddealer also supplied our main drinking water system that links via the remote control - we would totally recommend Ecowater and this particular product.
