Terrible Service
Ordered an Air conditioning unit that was in stock and available for next day delivery, money was taken out of bank account. Keeping in mind that order went through as next day delivery, two days later I sent an email asking when delivery would be because I had only received a confirmation email, had no reply. Called four days after ordering and when I finally got through she said the item I brought is not in stock and someone will get in touch to discuss a replacement product. Didn't hear anything else so on the eighth day I called again to only be told the same thing again so I asked for the money to be returned to my bank account.
Not good service at all and very unhappy.

Poor Design, Manual, And Service
ABC 12 litre:
Being a heating engineer, I have recommended very many dehumidifiers over the years - this is not my favourite. First of all, a unit I ordered came damaged, and Meaco weren't interested in resolving the issue, instead referring me to the retailer when it was quite evidently supplied to the retailer in that way. That aside, the instructions for the Sleep Mode in the manual are incorrect - as is the description of the LEDs. Two attempts to talk to their 'Chat' service was a lesson in futility, and I had to phone instead. This resolved the Sleep Mode issue. The unit is small and fairly quiet, but by far the worst design fault is having the water tray fitted on the back of the unit! It means turning the unit around once or twice a day to empty the water tray (which isn't large). This would be okay if the unit was freestanding in a room, but it's far more likely to be located against a wall or in a corner, so quite what the designer was thinking, I have no idea! Also, the various coloured top options is bizarre. Some retailers will stock black, others blue! There's also white, silver, and green! Why? Why not just make them all white? The only positive I can mention is its low power usage (against a desiccant dehumidifier). Overall, apart from the poor customer service, it's not a unit I would feel happy to recommend, and indeed, I bought this unit for a client, and subsequently advised her to purchase something else.
