Bru Joy Can Opener

I recently purchased the Bru Joy can opener for my mother, after reading in the product description that it was good for people with arthritis. She has struggled for years every time she opened a can of anything. I believe that the main reason it helps with arthritis is a combination between the thicker handles and the angled head of the can opener, which is basically giving her a better grip and also changing her over all angle.

The only problem I've noticed is it doesn't seem to open cans as well if you don't have the handle lined up properly, to where the inner parts of the handle base are touching. Though in all reality, I don't really think it takes away from the can openers ability to perform. In Fact, I like my mom's can opener so much that I will be buying another for me.
