Unfortunately, The Seals At The Cutter End Have Ro
Unfortunately, the seals at the cutter end have rotted out on mine and I would recommend that you remove the shaft from the wand from time to time by tapping the end of the shaft with a small hammer and punch. The complete shaft will come out. Once removed you will find seals and a small brass bush that is the bearing. Wash all of the parts and lubricate the bearing with a drop or two of machine oil. Replace the shaft into the wand and press it home. I recommend that you do not wash the wand in a dishwasher as you will remove the lubricant from the bearing which will then seize up and the seals and bearing will all turn together and destroy the seals making the unit useless. Parts are not available

I Love The Braun Mr5550 M Hc&bc Multiquick Profess
I love the Braun MR5550 M HC&BC Multiquick Professional but am sick of having to buy a replacement when the plastic attachment between gearbox and blade stops working.
Last time I bought the full on Pro version and still it only lasted 2 years!
Why can I not just buy the gearbox?
Until I can buy this part separately I cannot recommend the machne to anyone - and I shall be looking for an alternative machine.

The Attachment Plastic Piece That Control The Trac
The attachment plastic piece that control the tractions on the
Braun MR5550 M HC&BC Multiquick Professional in all the pieces for mix, cut or blend it is not made for hard foods.
And brown does not sale the piece.
The attachment would be made of steel o iron and not of plastic because with the friction force turn isolated and the power unit rest out of use Where I can buy a lot of this pieces?

The Braun Mr5550 Is Very Useful Because I Do Not H
The Braun MR5550 is very useful because I do not hesitate to use it; it's easy to clean and there is no mounting or go get the parts downtime. I'm not afraid to get it dirty, its like a spoon vs a full fleged robot. How often do you use the spoon ?OK this spoon is a magig 400W wand.

I Would Not Use The Ice Crusher At All As This Wil
I would not use the Ice crusher at all as this will seriously cut your multiquicks life down to days never mind years. Braun also does not offer spare parts, which is a shame considering that the shaft piece that breaks is plastic and could be easily replaced by the consumer if they were available. My own Multiquick only lasted 12 months with occasional use and was never used for hard items (ice, nuts, etc)
