A Brilliant Machine.

I have had my Phillips GC7220 a number of years, and I would be lost without it. This machine is the best item I have ever bought. There isn't 1 item I dislike, its so quick/easy to use.

It is so compact. and convenient.

Good Product, Buying Another

Bought this iron over a year ago and it's given excellent service. I have to replace it now because brown gunge is coming out of the base and staining the clothes. This is because we did not use distilled water, just descaled tap water. The brown is iron deposits in the water so make sure you use proper distilled water at all times as I will in future.

The Worst Iron I Ever Used. Ran Out Of Water Too Q

The worst iron I ever used. Ran out of water too quickly. Took far too long to heat up and took far too long to heat up after refilling. Eventually after 6 months it started leaking water everywhere. Can't believe Philips produced such a bad product. Got my money back and am now buying a Tefal. Had one before and it was a far superior product.

I Really Hate Ironing, So This Philips Gc7220 Stea

I really hate ironing, so this Philips GC7220 Steam Generator has been an absolute godsend. I was apprehensive to begin with, but I now spend less time doing the ironing. Even though I have had steam irons before, if the garment was really badly creased, it would take forever to get the creases out, but with the GC7220 steam generator, the creases seemed to melt away. The booklet says that it gives 3.5 bars of powerful pressure to expel 80grams of steam per minute deeper into your garments, relaxing the fabric and helping you remove all creases in a single stroke. It actually does what it says on the tin.I found that if I have a larger than normal pile of ironing to do, I'm not filling the reservoir all the time like a normal steam iron, nor do I have to wait long for it to heat up. Another good point is the ease of ironing, the iron itself seems to have no resistance at all to my clumsy ironing techniques. The steam-resistant ceramic-coated soleplate is specially designed to glide effortlessly across all fabrics, resulting in powerful crease removal. The iron is really easy to clean " de-scaling takes place in under two minutes without the need to buy hard-to-find items like anti-scale cartridges. My mother was very impressed with the Philips GC7220 Steam Generator, so she will be a proud owner of one, or one like it very soon.

Wow! This Iron Is Fantastic. I Wonder How I Ever M

Wow! This iron is fantastic. I wonder how I ever managed without one. Ironing is no longer a chore to me. Everything gets ironed with half the effort, in half the time with excellent results. A large water tank that can be refilled while in use. I honestly am so impressed with this appliance that I would recommend it to anyone. It irons creases out thoroughly and with virtually nothing more than a simple glide over the garment whilst applying steam. The only thing I can find in way of bad points is that the base takes up quite a bit of room on my ironing board and that is by no means a problem when it gives fantastic results in every other way.

I Hate Ironing. I Never Iron Anything. I Got One O

I hate ironing. I never iron anything. I got one of these Philips GC7220 and it was like an ironing sensation! I was looking for things to iron, socks, pants, anything, I did it.

This iron is bliss. It's like the iron you have waited for all your adult life. It is so powerful, there is no effort involved in using it whatsoever. Everything seems to take seconds and looks brilliant.I love that the steam goes right to the point of the iron. Also, because the steam is so constant you don't get all hot and bothered, it seems like a dry steam that just whizzes through the work.

It's not heavy, even my 10 year old daughter has had a go. Nice long wires too.
