A Wonderful Way To Get A Lot Of Ironing Done Quickly

Just Loved this item, why did I not buy one years ago. It will do my kingsize duvet covers down to shirts and all clothing. Cannot wait for my next batch of ironing.

I have the dry press which is perfectly good, I get the clothes of the line a little damp and it finishes the drying process.

After Reading Many Reviews For Steam Presses I Dec

After reading many reviews for Steam Presses I decided to buy the Fast Press XN64. It is the press that is stocked by John Lewis, Comet, etc. However I bought mine from Sewing Machine Sales online. It arrived within two days (not bad for the North of Scotland), well packed and in good condition.

I had a pile or ironing to do, including 6 sheets and 10 pillowcases and 2 duvet covers (all in egyptian cotton); along with the usual t shirts, shirts, jeans, etc. I did enlist the help of my hubby to fold the bedding with me into 4 and then concertina it down the back of the press. Something I'll get the hang of in time.

I was amazed at how easy the press was to use. As I already had some damp clothes I didn't use the steam for all of the ironing and the performance was exactly the same.

I would not recommend putting the press on an ironing board as it is heavy and would be easy to pull towards you if you were ironing sheets, but that's just my opinion. I used the table top with a bath towel underneath to protect the table. However the steam was contained and didn't go everywhere as I had at first imagined.

Ironin shirts was really easy, and they look as if they've been done at a cleaners.

I'm glad I bought the press and I don't think I'll need to use my Polti iron again (unless it breaks down).
