Absolute Rubbish

We are now on out 3rd drier!! Have a repair plan so that is why we have had 3 of them! As well as being on the third drier have lost count of the times we have had it repaired. Constantly not heating clothes, the condenser unit is awkward to clean. We are now waiting for another repair and have been quoted a date in 12 days time whilst waiting for the parts. I don't think so, will be cancelling plan and buying a new one and will definatley not be this model!

Do Not Buy This Machine As It Is A Fire Hazard And

Do NOT buy this machine as it is a fire hazard and could cost you your life. Mine is just over a year old and burst into flames this evening with thick acrid smoke billowing out of it.

Picked Ours Up On Ebay .......needed It For Drying

Picked ours up on eBay .......needed it for drying towels in grooming grooms.....has just stopped heating so ordered a new element....looked on Google to find out how to get inside!!! then read about reset on thermostat....

YOU MUST CHECK THIS OUT......UNPLUG MACHINE>...if you have no heat in your machine and are competent with repairs then take off the heater element piece......that is the bit on the back with about 10 screws...undo the last 2 srews for element itself and look at the 2 small round things at the top...if one of them is indented the get a pin and push into the hole to reset...put back together and hey presto..........save yourself £40 part and £££££labour!

Thanks very much, very useful. I mended my dryer in about half an hour, no problem. It's a shame the Instruction Book doesn't mention thermostats! There are two small round things, by the way, but only one has a hole in the middle. You need to press quite hard with your pin or needle and it will reset with a pronounced click.

Absolute Rubbish! The Machine Broke Down After One

Absolute rubbish! The machine broke down after one month, this was covered by warranty, it has broken down no fewer than 5 times with the same fault, namely water finding it's way into the heating element - the elements actually attach to foil backed cardboard, must cost at least 5p to manufacture, this is definitely the achilles heel of the machine. This can be compared to manufacturing a fireguard from chocolate or a paper boat etc - doomed to fail.

Creda Tcr2. Thought Creda Were A Good Household Na

CREDA TCR2. Thought Creda were a good household name. Pricewise it was a middle of the range machine and it looked quite smart. We used it only in winter or on wet days, sometimes it had months without being turned on. Kept it clean and routinely maintained yet less than 12 months in it stopped heating/drying, although the drum still turned. Just got in on the gaurantee, but surprise surprise another 18 months of light use and its broken again. Now if you start it up, it makes a noise like a bad car crash; the local repair man has told us not to waste our money. We wish we had read these reviews before purchasing - USELESS BUY AT YOUR PERIL.

Recently Started Tripping The Electric, Stripped I

recently started tripping the electric, stripped it down and discovered water around the heater elements and fan, cleaned everything out, loads of water collecting in the bottom, looks like the motor has kicked water up into the heater via the plastic splines. pump is working fine, dryed it all out and tried it again, one load of washing was ok, 20 mins into the second load, trips out again. have to agree with everyone on her, load of rubbish
