Does What It Says On The Tin And Thats All That Matters.
I wanted a dryer to help me with the weekly washday blues as I was getting fed-up of waiting forever for clothes to dry on my clothes horse and the really unpredictable weather we tend to get in the UK. A friend of mine suggested I get a mini tumble dryer as I don't have room for a full-sized one in my house. So I took the plunge and bought one.
This dryer from White Knight is very basic, with just a timer and a high/low heat switch. There are no other controls at all on this machine. The machine comes with a rear-mounted vent hose and reverse action (which rotates the drum both ways to reduce creasing). The timer dial has recommendations on it for different types of fabric, which is helpful as this is not a sensor dryer. The vent hose could be longer, but this is a minor quibble and longer vent hoses are readily available.
Now onto the machine itself.
Being a mini-tumble dryer, it can only hold up to 3KG of washing but should be enough for a person living alone or a couple. The quality of the drying is very good indeed. The clothes dry evenly with minimal creasing, and providing your washing is well-spun during the final spin in your washing machine, they don't take too long to dry. I like the way the clothes come out all warm, soft and fluffy after drying. There is a lint filter beneath the door aperture which requires cleaning after every cycle, but removing and cleaning it isn't too much bother. The machine is fairly quiet and doesn't cause too much disturbance when in use.
I would recommend this machine. I am very happy with mine. It is basic, but it dries clothes well with minimum fuss.

Way Too Slow
the drier is small which is why I bought it but I put 2.5 kg of clothes which is 4 tracksuit bottoms 2 shirts and 2 towels. I did a complete cycle of 120 minutes and it still was damp had to do it for another hour to get dry.
If you dont mind waiting for that long for a small amount of washing then its great. otherwise avoid it.
I exchanged it for a 7kg hotpoint aquarius. 80 minutes with 6kg load and it dry.
It might be suited if you have small loads, a single person in a flat would be suited to it.

I Bought This Dryer To Dry Towels And Bedding For
I bought this dryer to dry towels and bedding for my dogs only, because when I shared my last AEG dryer for clothes as well it packed-up due to all the animal hair. I have now had this dryer longer than the AEG one (2yrs); using it for four full loads per week there have been problems. The machine is quiet and easy to use, although it does take a little longer to dry the washing on a full load. I would recommend this little machine to anyone who needs to regularly dry small quantities.
