Aveda Shampure

I always heard a lot about this shampoo. Aveda's Shampure is definitely one of their most hyped products. So when my hairdresser recommended it I thought I would give it a try but I was disappointed.

Firstly I found the smell incredibly strong and not altogether that pleasant. The smell doesn't fade over time which for me was a problem.

It also had a tendency to make my hair too soft. When I was washing my hair with it, it became tangled and hard to comb out. After drying my hair, although it felt cleansed, I found it had made my hair feel unusually fine and very flyaway.

I can't recommend this product because as I didn't find the results good at all. To be honest it reminded me of a product like Johnson's baby shampoo. So I think you could get much better results for a lot less money.

I have been using Aveda Shampure shampoo for about 6 months. It is good for normal hair types and I use it quite frequently. The shampoo is absolutely lovely, smells nice and the scent stays for a few days after washing, it leaves my hair soft and very easy to comb and quite shiny. I would definately recommend but it is worth checking other Aveda products as other shampoos may be more suitbale for specific hair types.
