I Don't Think The Shampoo Does That Much But The C
I don't think the shampoo does that much but the conditioner does as I've used the conditioner alone and it hads made a difference actually adding blonde highlights into my mousy brown hair, it's amazing, every time I use it my friends think I've had highlights, mind the conditioner is better than the shampoo.

IT IS!
I only bought this shampoo and conditioner as a last resort. I've wanted highlights for a while, not because my naturally blonde hair has died away, but just to brighten it up. The jealousy from my friends and even random strangers, was way too much.
So what did I do? I went to Tesco, searching for a miracle product.
DISCOVERING TIMOTEI...
Sure, I had seen the bottles at my local supermarket, and yes I knew they were for blondes, but after trying sheer blonde by John Frieda, and the disaster of it DARKENING my hair, I wasn't going to try anything else unless I was certain there was a chance it would work. So, I came onto the internet (my virtual home), and searched for anything that would create natural highlights, and would also be affordable. After a lot of looking, I discovered it. Timotei Golden Highlights Camomile. Three words from the title distracted me instantly; "golden" "highlights" and "camomile." After reading a few of the reviews about it, I decided to go for it, therefore, taking the risk of trying it out on my own field of gold that lives on my head.
BUYING THE PRODUCT...
Off I went to Tesco. I searched for it, and as luck would have it, it was on offer, 2 for £3.00. The "new larger size" also grabbed my attention, and soon I was at the counter paying for what I believed would be a miracle, or what I hoped would be anyway.
TRYING IT OUT
I didn't expect it to make any difference the first time. No, I knew I had to sue a few times first. As I washed my hair, I applied the shampoo. Opening the bottle, a beautiful smell surrounded me. This was the first good sign. The second sign came when I put some on my hand. The shampoo was glittery, but not in an eight-year-old way, in a sparkly, what I like to think as sophisticated way. It seemed so shiny that I couldn't wait for the end result. Washing out the shampoo was easy. My hair felt amazing, and I hoped it would look it too. The conditioner came next, and as I applied it, it felt so soft, it was amazing! Not many of the conditioners that I have applied on my hair before have felt this way. I waited a few minutes before washing it out. This didn't take long, because I had only applied it to the ends, as I occasionally have greasy roots. Later, I came out of the shower, dried my hair a bit with the towel, but not so much that it was "towel dry", and applied some straightening balm.
I blow dried my hair, and looked in the mirror. What did my hair look like? Well, it certainly was softer and shinier, and I think a bit lighter.
SO THAT WAS IT?
No, no, after a few washes my hair definitely became lighter, and I could see natural highlights spread around my hair. I was thrilled, over the moon, and I couldn't believe it. I have proof too. Pictures of me before I started using the miracle worker, show that my side fringe was, on the contrary, light brown. But now, there are many blonde highlights. I have bought more bottles, and I am still using it. In fact, I will use it tonight. And, believe it or not, even my brother has realised my hair has become lighter. That in itself is magical.
PACKAGING...
The packaging expresses what is inside the bottle. The golden yellow colour, and the honey top is suitable, and with the flower displayed behind the text, it seeks everyone's attention as an individual brand. On the front of the bottles it says:
"NEW LARGER SIZE
TIMOTEI SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER
GOLDEN HIGHLIGHTS
CAMOMILE
DE-TANGLING CREAM
SUN KISSED CAMOMILE
NATURAL EXTRACT
BLONDE
TO LIGHT BROWN HAIR"
On the back of the bottles it says (edited):
"TIMOTEI
GOLDEN HIGHLIGHTS CAMOMILE
NATURAL, HIGHLIGHTED OR COLOURED BLONDE TO BROWN HAIR
The active power of nature brings you 100% natural beauty.
For the first time, Timotei has captured a highly concentrated active amount of camomile flower extract. It combines these lightening properties into a gentle yet highly effective formulation.
Result: Hair is shiny, healthy looking, easy to comb, with beautiful natural highlights.
It is mild enough to use everyday.
VISIBLE EFFECT: 86%* of women have perceived highlights in their hair after product usage. *Consumer test carried out with 245 women with blonde to light brown hair.
Directions: after each shampoo, gently massage through the ends of your hair, leave for a few moments then rinse thoroughly.
If shampoo gets in your eyes, rinse with warm water.
This of course, is what it says on the bottle, and I can honestly say that it is true. Everyone's opinions are different though, but usually I don't trust the brands views and the blurb.
I have never seen any advertisements for this product. I have only seen it a few times whilst passing by in Tesco.
WHY SHOULD YOU BUY IT?
Buy it if you want to have highlights in your blonde to light brown hair, and if you don't want to pay the salon prices, unless you really have to. Try it out, it will do what it says on the bottle.
PRICE...
Per bottle, the price is about £1.89 each (on average). I got my first lot on offer though, which made it easier for me to try, as I knew I hadn't paid full price. But do not fear, if you are willing to buy this, and I do recommend it hugely, pay the full price if it isn't on offer, as it will work. Apparently it's "natural" and "detangling" although, I am not too sure about that. Then again, my hair is detangled anyway.
OTHERS IN THE TIMOTEI BRAND...
There are a vast number of products in this brand, there is also a version for brown hair, but as I have blonde hair, I haven't tried it.
RECOMMENDATION...
I can't tell you how much I recommend this product. It smells lush. It is for many types of hair (coloured, and normal etc...), and hair feels soft, light and... blonde after use! I love it!
