I've used Sheer Cover for years. It truly covers and looks sheer. I have been disappointed over the years because some of my favorite products are no longer available -- finishing powder and lip-to-lid pink minerals. Loved both of these products.

It doesn't cover my dark pimple spot and also it clings to dry patches on skin.

My husband bought me this for Xmas and its rubbish the concealer does not conceal properly also the mineral powder you needs loads on so as I only bought the trail version it will soon be empty. it looks so good on the TV adverts but its so misleading grant it the sun bronzer is not bad. But I have gone back to my old makeup again Laura Geller balance and brighten and her concealer again, will never buy sheer cover ever again it does not work and its a waste of money. I would had liked to see the real advert where they put lots of sheer cover on models as I think that the advert was misleading and it showed them putting on very little sheer cover that is obviously a lie as I had to put on loads to get the cover I needed so that very misleading it is TV after all they use lots of tricks for this one I am sure.

I bought sheer cover to try it with the starter pack deal unfortunately when I was trying to cancel with them continuing to take my money it was the hardest rigmarole ever being put on hold for up to 30 mins only to be told all agents were busy and they would call me back! Disgrace of a company and very unprofessional! All about taking your money and that's that!!

I bought an introductory set of Sheer Cover products after seeing a tv advertisement. The first thing to say is that it is not made overly clear that you are NOT simply buying an introductory package. You are signing up for regular shipments of further products, and the money is deducted from your account automatically.

My products arrived quickly, but I found them to be at best average. The concealer did not work particularly well on tiny flaws, so I doubt it would work on bigger problem areas. The mineral foundation is OK, but nothing you can't buy elsewhere. The eye colours I found to be useless - not enough pigment, so they simply 'disappear'. The mascara I found to be gloopy and clumpy. Not a patch on my regular brand.

Still, I put this down to experience and my own stupidity at being seduced by a tv ad. The thing that most concerned me was that I had unwittingly signed up for repeat orders of products I did not want. I therefore phoned 'Customer Care' at Guthy Renker, the company behind Sheer Cover. After holding on for an extremely long time, I eventually got through to an operator. Unfortunately she was not able to help with any queries or problems at all. It seems she exists simply to repeat the same mantra over and over - that the company is extremely busy and is therefore taking phone numbers so that it can call people back later. This is a new one on me. Frankly, by the time I had explained that I had been holding for hours and simply wanted someone to cancel my account, she could have sorted things out. I suspect the evasion is quite deliberate and I fear that I may have to endure a long battle in order to get my account deleted. I really would not advise anyone to deal with this company. Online reviews from disgruntled customers who are still having money deducted from their accounts and receiving unwanted goods months after they have cancelled abound. I wish I had been more careful.
