The Only Foundation For Me X

The only foundation for me! I have only just discovered it a few weeks ago but I wish I had started using it earlier.

It seems to be the only thing that works for my skin type, would advise people with slightly greasy / oily skin to give it a whirl xx

Waste Of Money

Seems to disappear after an hour leaving no coverage and a orange look. I was matched at the max factor counter and given warm.

Defiantly Not For Me!!

This foundation is awful!!! I opened the lid and it was so greasy, I have alright skin but after using this I had so many breakouts it just clogs up your pours. Although it matches my skin tone so well it doesn't hide or cover anything!!! Im definataly not buying this ever again although people with AMAZING skin will love it's lightweight feel. Hope this helps :) xx

Now, Like A Lot Of Women, I've Tried Out My Fair S

Now, like a lot of women, i've tried out my fair share of foundations. From powders, to liquids, to mousses, i used to find that nothing worked for my skintone, which can only be described as combination. I am also excessively pale, and i found that a lot of foundations turned yellowish on my skin.

I used to dislike going up to make up counters to get matched up to a proper foundation. The overly made up women behind the counters would often make me feel self conscious for wearing the wrong shade of foundation, or on the day when i had time to go to a make up counter, a huge spot would break out in the middle of my face.

However, i swallowed my pride one morning and made my way towards the max factor counter in boots. After much consideration, the lady behind the counter picked out a colour adapt foundation, in the colour creamy ivory. The foundation comes in a small plastic bottle with a pump, which means that you waste less of the product (as anyone who has ever used the Revlon Colorstay foundation will testify, it's annoying when you accidently pour too much). This foundation has a light, mousse like texture, and it blends well. It feels moist on my skin, which is good for me as i have dry skin in places, however for those with oily skin i would probably stay away, as i could imagine it feeling quite greasy on oily skin.

It is of medium coverage, but i think it looks natural on skin, because it blends so well into your natural skin tone. On average this foundation costs around £12, and it lasts me around four months, and i wear it everyday. To those who would complain about the price, you really do get what you pay for. I really do like this foundation, and it suits my combination skin perfectly (i have oily skin around my nose, but i find if i set my foundation with powder afterwards, it stays fine). Also, it does not oxidise my skin and turn me an unnatural colour.

The only criticism i would have of this foundation is minor, the packaging. It feels a bit middle aged old lady to me. Im not really sure if max factor intend to market their products to an older audience, and if they do it's a shame because i feel this foundation is suitable for young women and older women alike. Also as i said, if you have oily skin all over, then perhaps this foundation may feel heavy on your skin.

I Really Loved This Product As I Have An Oily Skin

i really loved this product as i have an oily skin ,this works well on my skin type. it gives smooth and silky finish. and stays all day long. i got this as a free sample but now i buy this on regular basis. it keeps my skin powdery and there is no need to apply powder. i would love to recommend this product to those having oily or combined skin type.

The Tester Of Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation N

The tester of Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation no 45 Warm Almond looked great on my skin. Purchased a bottle, very dissappointed. The bottle colour was much lighter than the tester. I returned to the store to ask for the same colour as the tester, the assistant could not match the colour to any of those on sale. I managed to obtain a refund and am now left still searching for the perfect colour.

Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation Is The Best Fou

Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation is the best foundation I've ever tried! I have really pale skin, so any lines, flaws etc show so easily with other foundations - but this gave me perfect coverage, it's the first time I can say my foundation is actually flawless, even in harsh light. I do need a bit of concealer for my under-eye circles, but the important thing is that this base gives wonderful even coverage, feels invisible and makes my skin feel silky and velvety... i love it :)If, like me, you have also battled for years to find a foundation that will go onto your face without giving that flaky pancake look, then please give this foundation a try. I'm usually so self-conscious about how my skin looks, because just about every base I've tried (even really expensive ones) go blotchy or orange... but this is perfect, and I'll definitely be sticking with it. I'm using 'porcelain', which is shade 50. Try it!

Kind To My Skin - I Get A Few Spots But It Hasn't

Kind to my skin - I get a few spots but it hasn't worsened them like other foundations.

Blends in to my skin tone and you can't see a seam at all (im shade 55)

Great pump on the bottle for ease of application. Really great foundation, Ive tried dream matte mouse, and loreal infallible both of which I disliked, I use it as my every day to work make up, and use a bit of powder over it (loreal true match minerals) for going out.I don't have any bad points! I'm yet to find a better foundation - perhaps because I hate spending so much only to end up hating a product!!

It Worked Really Well On The Skin And It Felt As T

It worked really well on the skin and it felt as though you were wearing no make up at all. This make up does not irrate the skin or leave it feeling dry.

It's easy to spply and there are no uneven surfaces. this makes the make up look natural and perfect for your skin.
