Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation

This is my favorite foundation of all time. It provides a flawless finish as well as a fresh, radiant look. This is a foundation that can be built upon, which I think is fantastic! It's not too heavy. I was afraid to use it at first, but after a single use, I was obsessed. There are also various shades to select from. It is suitable for all skin types.

I'm so fed up of spending money on foundations that either a) make me looked slightly tangoed as the colour doesn't match very well or b) is eaten by my skin/melted by the heat/rubbed away on my clothes. I used to religiously buy a foundation from No7 but they have changed the range and also the colours. The ivory is far too dark and orangey for me now.

I wandered into Westfield Stratford on the way home and thought I'd better get a new foundation as my current one was just grim and I hated how it made me look.

I'd heard great things about Smashbox from some of the beauty blogs that I follow and saw their stand in Boots. When the lady working the counter asked if I needed help I went for it.

I ended up trying one of their foundations as well as eyeliner and blush.

The Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation was fairly new and was unlikely to be replaced any time soon, so no rushing around looking for a new foundation in the near future.

It felt nice on my face and the colour was good, it kinda sets on your face to prevent it rubbing off. It made my skin look flawless without hiding everything (you could still see my freckles).

I wore it all day and night as I went out to a bar and when I got home after midnight I checked to see how it had faired.

I was really surprised to see that I still looked flawless, only my eyeliner and concealer hadn't lasted as well. I noticed that even the blusher that was applied also looked like it had lasted the night, perhaps it somehow adheres to the foundation.

I would really recommend trying this foundation out if you have a Smashbox counter near you. It's a little pricier than what I would normally spend but I think it will last me much longer.
