Brilliant Product.

I started investigating shellac polish after loving getting my nails done at a salon but being unable to consistently afford the prices of getting them done regularly. My sister bought me a gel nail kit for my Xmas as a surprise using the Gellure brand. However I didn't find this product was very good at all for wear or look. I came across the Bluesky brand on Amazon & was wary to begin with due to the price as it was so much cheaper than others. However, I bit the bullet & have never looked back! I've got 15 colours & they're all brilliant. They last for 10-14 days on my nails & usually only get removed or changed due to nail growth. The colours are vibrant & super shiny with the top coat. The colour change type are amazing & I get lots of comments when I wear those. I've now had at least three friends/family get the same range due to what they've seen on my nails.

Better Than Cnd

As a fully qualified nail technician, i got fed up of customers complaining that CND Shellac was drying out their natural nails. When looking into the product "shellac" in detail i was shocked to find it is a resin used in the building trade as has good insulation qualities and it seals out moisture ( it also stops natural nail moisture it seems too). I tried GlamLac (very good but hard to source and more expensive than Shellac) and got recommended Bluesky (cheaper but you must remember they are smaller bottles too). My clients are now finding their nails are lasting longer (1 lady had 5 weeks without any chipping) and it is not drying out my clients nails at all! I strongly recommend this product over CND Shellac!!!

Fabulous

I am a Nail Technician and I have used many Shellac polishes.

It is true to say that Bluesky is as good as or if not better than CND Shellac. I give my clients the option of the two, CND or BLUESKY and the majority choose BLUESKY, not only for the price but for the result as well. One of my clients had CND and then decided to try the BLUESKY and she confirmed to me that her preference is the BLUESKY because it is harder wearing, lasts much longer and looks a lot better and has a better finish.

CND has the monopoly in the market and New Nail Technicians seem to think it looks good if they advertise CND. However, this does not mean that clients will bite at using this product as BLUESKY has been around for many many years and is as good as or if not better than CND as it is an excellent product and this has been proven to me considering the amount of my clients that prefer the BLUESKY.

It is half the price and you can give your clients a treatment at an affordable price considering todays economic climate.

I do hope this has helped ladies who have been thinking about using BLUESKY or clients that have been thinking of using it. GO AHEAD, GIVE IT A GO AND THEN MAKE UP YOUR OWN VIEW!

Bluesky Shellac Nail Varnish

I search everywhere for independent reviews of this brand of nail varnish, reviews on EBay and Amazon sounded too good to be true. It’s fantastic, easy to apply, lasts as long as professionally applied CND shellac at half the price. I am a novice and bought a home kit after having my nails done professionally and loving them. I can’t afford to visit the salon on a regular basis so thought I’d give this ago - and I have had loads of compliments about my handy work. Do take it off carefully, following one of the many YouTube demo’s and be patient so you don’t damage your nails, but actually it left my bare nails really strong. When buying a kit I recommend a lamp with a timer and check it has UK voltage and plug. I also read that for the glitter diamond colours, you need to use the diamond glitter top and base coat. Most of the starter kits I looked at are supplied with the mat colour varnishes so I bought some glitter polishes in addition.

Q&A

PTrafford

I was considering buying a CND Shellac kit for home use but am impressed with the reviews I have read regarding Bluesky products. Can you please tell me whether you need a special UV lamp for Bluesky? There are various lamps and prices but I was under the impression that a CND UV lamp was best for CND Shellac. Is this the same with Bluesky? What type of lamp with cure the nails in the best way?
