Not As Easy, Bad Dvd Tutorial.

I initially purchased these, thinking, wow how easy! What a great results!

Not really. Lots and lots of cons. Some positive.

Cons:

• glue

I almost glued my fingers together, it's that fast. The glue is VERY strong and very watery. This almost defeats the tutorials "place nail at an angle and slide" idea. Placing it on an angle will drip the glue right out all over your finger. Also there is probably less than 2 seconds for you to correctly place the nail tip on your nail. Sliding it in was nearly impossible, it bonded with nail instantly. Some wiggle room to adjust would have been nice! Otherwise you end up with crooked nails if you're not careful. The glue does not redistribute evenly on the nail-tip due to being a very watery consistency.

• Prefiling nail tip seam instructions

Tutorial said to prefile the seam a bit before putting them on. I did that, unfortunately I wish i didn't. It would have been MUCH easier to smooth the seam after nail tip was applied.

• Resin dvd instructions

Again, tutorial asks to put one layer of resin, wait 20 seconds, another layer of resin, dip and 3rd layer of resin then activator. I do not advice. It makes the nails much thicker, and for me personally, it was way too much. Bumpy, clumpy and hard to smooth. If you have small hands/fingers don't put that many layers. Next time if I decide to do it again, I will brush on resin, wait 20 seconds, dip and brush on second layer. It's way more than enough.

• Grit file was missing in the box, which was unopened.

Very disappointing, because the product itself is not "that cheap".

• Not a one persons job, if you're not VERY good with your hands, ask someone who is trusty.

• Results will not be like on the "ad" simply because the nail tips included are not white, they are natural.

• Time consuming (make sure you have 2-4 hours to dedicate)

The only thing that saved my nails from looking terrible was a clear nailpolish with glitter from OPI (Servin' up a sparkle). Quite decent result.

Pro's:

• With practise, one can get these nails to look fantastic. Like with most things, one has to learn and find a way that will work for them.

• Decent results

• Very hard nails that can withstand things like water, doing dishes, work etc (I kept mine natural and not extremely long)

• Could and would look very professional once you've had practise.

Overall okay results. I don't know if I will purchase it again, If removing kit was included I would probably remove them after a few days.

Best thing for good strong nails are things like eating well, providing nutrition for your nails, hydrate them with oils, and spending few minutes every day to give them proper nails. Priceless and much cheaper than any nail kit on the market.

I Couldn't Say I Am Happy With The Purchase Of Qui

I couldn't say i am happy with the purchase of Quick Dip Acrylics. I followed the dvd provided, step by step and still only managed to do one hand. It looked a right mess, and i had to take them off after spending an hour doing them... i am very dissapointed as this was a birthday present that i chose from my dad...and now i can't use them!
