Pevonia Anti Ageing Cream

I enjoyed a lovely day at a spa and following this, I decided to buy the Pevonia anti-aging creams that the therapist stated she had used on my face.

**A couple of days later I decided to give the creams a go, especially as I was told it could be used as a base under make-up. Within minutes my face started swelling up and my delicate, aging skin appeared blistered and burned. It was very painful at times. As somebody who goes to a spa as a rare treat and tries to look after my skin, this was a horrendous experience.**

I called the spa and attempted to speak to the manager but they were useless. The Spa are just as much to blame. No offer of skin care, no empathy whatsoever. This affected y sleeping, my personal appearance and my work.

I was told to wait 5 months for a Pevonia rep to visit the spa where they would discuss my complaint. 5 Months passes and still no word. I contacted them several times and eventually they produced a report about the product I had used. Given their lack of care, I am not convinced that this report is legitimate.

The report (a few bullet points pasted into an email) indicated that everyone has different skin and that all their products are "harmless". Essentially, I must have reactive skin. Utter nonsense, I've never reacted to creams before and I've used every brand going.

**Again, no offer of skin care or anything to suggest they have taken my complaint seriously and acknowledge that their product damaged my skin. That is years of care and skin care regime out of the window! Any one in their late 40's will appreciate how much that might hurt! I would have liked to receive an analysis of my skin by a skin therapist and a recommendation of appropriate products to heal it further. But nothing. Not even a voucher.**

I will never buy Pevonia products again. Nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. More so because of the customer service experience - I know if I ever had a problem, I could not rely on them to support me.
