I Force The Cream Under My Long Nails By Scraping
I force the cream under my long nails by scraping them over my palms. I find this prevents any stain or dirt from settling under my nails. I am nearly through my second jar and really pleased to see that it is once more available.
I have recently found out that Janet Carter is now selling her wonderous products under the name of Blossom & May. Although she is not doing the gardeners hand cream anymore, there is still the Skin Balm which has very much the same base and although sold for the face is excellent on worked hands and arms. I got some at a flower show last summer from the lady herself and use it every day as my go to treatment cream, but it is now avaialble at blossomandmay. hope this is helpful.

Hello to all those who have used and enjoyed the untold benefits of Janet Carters Gardners Hand Cream over the years. As you may have become aware the company of Janet Carter Ltd was liquidated some years ago and the in turn this wonderful cream removed from the market. The original formaula and brand was started by my Grandmother over 40 years ago, with regret the firm was sold due to escalating costs. Now, nearly 20 years on, we are back!, Janet herself has been getting the show back on the road over the last few years with a range of products under the name 'Honeybees'. Until now these have only been available by mail order with cheque or from Janet herself at markets etc...Over the next few months we hope to be back in business as Janet Carter ltd. The infamous Anti-mosquito Cologne and Gardners Hand Cream as well as a new luxury cosmetic range: 'The Hive' available to buy directly online and through a growing number of national stockists. I have used Janet's wonderful products for years - and still do! I used to sell them years ago in my shop in West Sussex, not far from Janet's home. They were so naturally made that the creams would vary in consistency from season to season - but the quality was always the same!
I am so pleased to see that her 'name' has returned - and look forward to trying the new products. Recommend highly the Skin Balm, the Marigold Moisturiser - and the Barrier Cream

I've Tried Many Creams But Janet Carter Gardener's
I've tried many creams but Janet Carter Gardener's Barrier Cream beats them all as it makes such a difference to my hands. I started to give out tubs for presents or recommend to friends who garden and so far I think they are all impressed. It's so good when you discover a product that really works, then it's just convincing everyone else to try it, to prove your point! It's good value for money. A hand cream that really works and protects skin like a barrier cream before gardening, then great after as a sort of 'nourishing' product. I'd be lost without it now.
