Poor Experience
The final product was good but the process of ordering was really bad because they don’t know their stock levels which I find bizarre.
When they delivered it was the wrong product too
Navy Bean Bag With White Stars
Purchased the navy bean bag with white stars for my son's new bedroom, the navy dye transferred onto his brand new Laura Ashley white bed, so it is now ruined, also transferred onto the skirting. GLTC offered a refund for the product but were not interested in the damage it had caused. Ridiculous that they should sell an item for a child's bedroom that basically ruins everything it comes into contact with.

Bad Quality Large Eden Playtable
I purchased a number of items from GLTC and was very happy with delivery of products and the apparent quality of products. However, one of the products that I purchased was the large eden playtable. It looked lovely when assembled (took a handyman about 2hours to put together) and the kids were very happy with it. But unfortunately the chalk side of the table left black marks over the white drawers and the sides of the table. Very quickly (within an hour) the table looked grubby and dirty and the marks would not come off. I contacted GLTC and they were willing to offer me £40 as a partial refund. I paid more than that to the handyman to get the items that I ordered assembled! But it was of no use just accepting the partial refund as the chalk side of the table would carry on leaving marks. I asked if they could exchange the top chalk part of the table and offer the partial refund as well for the marked table but they said no. So I am now sending the table back. But guess what - I have to unassemble it completely. So I paid a handyman for nothing and my children still don't have a playtable for the playroom. Thank you GLTC.

Utterly terrible service. I agree with the majority of comments on here, please keep clear of this company!
Yes the goods look nice but the service is appalling, my order never arrived three days running, ended up giving up and getting a full refund. I wish I had used amazon from the start. The customer services lie and just tell you what you want to hear, I would rather be told the truth, if you can't get it to me on a certain day then don't promise to. Wasted a lot of time on phone calls and staying in for delivery. I most certainly won't be attempting to use this company again.

Our requested item was in stock, but when we enquired why we had heard nothing in 15 days we were told that the order would not be fulfilled as there is no stock. Why didnt they tell us that instead of waiting for us to ring?
I will not be using this company again.

Very Disappointed On Response To My Last Order
I HAVE PURCHASED MANY ITEMS AND ALWAYS BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE.
FOR MY GRANDDAUGHTERS THIS XMAS I PURCHASED SEVERAL ITEMS FROM GLTC
ONE OF WHICH WAS THE PICNIC BASKET SET,LOOKED BEAUTIFUL UNFORTUNATELY
AFTER HALF AN HOUR OF PLAY WITH IT THE VELCRO STICKERS STARTED COMING OFF,
WHICH COMPLETELY TOOK THE PLAY IDEA OF CUTTING FOOD AWAY.
I HAVE TRIED ON THE WEB SITE TO CONTACT GLTC TWICE NEITHER TIME HAVE THEY RESPONDED.
I WILL NOT PURCHASE FORM THEM AGAIN UNTIL I RECEIVE A RESPONSE.

Don't Have The Stock After Accepting The Order
We placed our first order by phone, with this company for a childs table & chairs. We were told the item would be delivered in 3 days & were given a reference number for our order. After a week of waiting we contacted them again to be told they were out of stock & would not be having any more. So why did they take & confirm the order in the first place. Watching my bank statement for an unauthorised charge though. Will not be using again.
Hopeless
Ordered a single bed, truckle drawer and 2 mattresses for my son. The bed became mysteriously unavailable having arranged delivery and was promised several follow up phone calls to resolve the issue. None of these calls materialised leaving me having to chase them.
After 3 weeks of nothing happening I eventually called to cancel my order. They had already delivered the mattresses (one of which was also the wrong one) so they needed returning. 3 weeks later they have not been picked up and I'm left chasing them for a refund and to arrange collection.
Customer service rep completely indifferent to my problem and obviously not perceived as an unusual or out of the ordinary circumstance.
Going against my advice my wife has since ordered a couple of storage boxes. One of these is missing a hole so I'm unable to assemble it. This has to go back but for some unknown reason they are unable to exchange this along with the mattresses meaning another day spent hanging around for couriers. Utterly incompetent buffoons. Stay away.
Typical GLTC, I used to work for them and had to lie constantly on the phone to poor people like yourselves about these types of things happening. I hope your situation is sorted soon, I totally agree, STAY AWAY
Terrible Service
I ordered the Learn Your Coins Money box at the beginning of October on the basis that it would be delivered in three working days. After repeated emails asking where it is, I have today been told it is out of stock and will be available at the end of November. This was intended as a present - very disappointed in GLTC!!!!!!

I purchased two sets of dollshouse furniture last week which arrived safely today and look fine. However, I am not happy with this company's marketing methods. Since making my order last week I have received no less than 5 emails telling me about a 15% off sale finishing last night. It is only if one reads the small print at the end, under Terms and Conditions, that it tells one that the discount is only valid on purchases of over £50. However, in the brochure which accompanied my order it states that future purchases will carry the 15% discount but no mention is made of having to spend at least £50. These purchases now have a time limit of 16 December.
This form of marketing is confusing and annoying for the customer and leaves one feeling a lack of trust in the company. I will not be ordering from them again. Please be up front and state the facts clearly instead of hiding it away in small print. In addition please be consistent with your offers.
