Dixons For Online Appliance Purchases??
Tempted by 5% off a bosch washing machine, I purchased from well known online retailer, dixons. My main problem with the company is the apathy they regard their customers with. The Bosch machine leaked on first use and so I asked for it to be collected and for a refund, quite straight forward you'd think. So far I have made about 14 phone calls, some as long as 45 mins at 5p a minute. With regard to faulty items sold by dixons, they will pass you over via an automated call, straight through to the manufacturer. Who will then warn you about their call out fees and dixons won't be doing very much. Call backs are promised, never received. Terms and conditions are vague at best on their site and when I did finally get to speak to a supervisor, I was transported back to the classroom as a naughty 6 year old. In conclusion, I'd be ashamed if I worked there, John Hill/Hall, Daniel Stringer, Sasha, Sarah, Fergus all seem to be inept c u next tuesdays. I'd go for anyone but the dixons/currys group in future.

Out Of All Electric Appliance Store, Website This Is Number1
ordered a tv from these fellas a few month back from the internet. (not sure if they still have the stores?) but anyway they were great. got my tv straight away no problems at all. i have recomended them ever since. i just had very bad experiences with comet and currys and wish i had used dixons again instead. i have not tried any of the other electric appliance stores except these 3 so i cant comment on the rest. but out of the 3 dixons wins hands down!! highly recommended. oh and tv was £100 cheaper than anywhere else so another huge plus!

Rubbish Delivery
The quality of products i have received from Dixons in the past has always been fine but i recently tried their online service for delivery. Don't bother! They use the courier company Yodel (look at their reviews on here, they speak volumes) and they offer a specified day delivery service from £5. I needed my camera for a holiday so paid this hoping to get it in 2 days. It did not arrive. The driver took it out in his lorry, but seemingly couldn't be bothered to do his job and he took it back to the depot. When I rang customer service said that i had 2 options either wait another 4 days or go and get it myself. I will not be ordering from dixons again until they change their choice of courier. I have also emailed asking for a refund of my delivery charge, but no response yet.

Paid Dixons To Install New Washing Machine Came Ho
Paid Dixons to install new washing machine came home tonight to find my kitchen flooded. Phoned them, no apology what so ever just fobbed me onto the main manufacturer ,which then manufacturer fobbed me back over to dixons, Spoke to dixons again who were extremely rude on the phone, very "bully like" customer service operators. I am 26yrs old and have to say i was able to deal with the phone call, as have had years my self in customer service so know what to say but i feel very sorry for older people who may struggle with dealing with such rudeness on the phone as they are very well trained to make you feel you are to blame.
I have them collecting the item for full refund once the engineer has confirmed broken-then removal And I will never ever use dixons again.
