Taking Away Discount No Reason

I had discount of first box 60% off then next 8 boxes at 20% off from hellofresh with a free add on from market place.could not get free add on without buying 1 at full price.after 3 days trying to resolve the issue with hellofresh I still not able to add free gift then I lost my discount voucher and hellofresh was unable to reactivate my voucher.the customer service team don't know what they doing as I went back and noticed that I could have reactivated my discount. I cancel account with hellofresh because there customer service just don't understand what you say to them .would advise not to use the hellofresh app customer service kept telling me it not working

Avoid!!

ABSOLUTELY DESPICABLE!!

Before even receiving my first order I had 3 lengthy phone calls in regard to an offer I was sent via post that I applied and the offer did not pull through. I was told to put order through as normal and they would apply discount - this did not happen. I have been completely tricked. I was told marketing would be fixing the issue and they did not. I asked what their complaints process is and they said they “Don’t have one”..?!! Please avoid this atrocious company at all costs!

Missing Ingredients

Wouldn't recommend Hello Fresh at all. Used their service as they had a black friday deal for £16 which worked out cheaper than my weekly shopping but they forgot to pack a meal and gave me the wrong ingredients for a different meal. The options for vegetarians is also pretty limited and for vegans it's basically non-existent. If you try and cancel you have to go through 4 or 5 cancellation screens. They try and ask you if you have special dietary requirements like vegan, at which point they re-direct you to their other company which is Green Chef. I'd avoid that too although I've heard it is better.

The fruit and veg was also pretty old looking by the time I got mid way through the week. The food I did cook was very tasty but I struggle to see how any of the ingredients or quality of the menus are worth full price? They were quick to give me a refund but defaulted it to Hello Fresh website credit. I asked for it to be sent to my bank account straight away instead and they agreed.

Do yourselves all a favour, find some of their recipes (or anyone elses) and buy the ingredients yourself! Shop local too!

Shocking Excuse Of A Company

Avoid this joke of a company that takes your money before you can even see what's available, and then refuse to refund you when you cancel the order & subscription long before their so called order deadline but make a whole host of excuses that the order or subscription has not been cancelled even when using the links provided on their own site, absolute low life!

I personally know friends and family that use it have used this service with mixed reviews, mostly pathetically small servings, items missing and meals not even delivered and a serious lack of customer support to rectify any concerns or issues once the have taken the money for so called meals!

There are far better food box deliveries on Google with far better service and reviews than this joke of a company.

Sooner this lot disappears the better for everyone!

Watch for the pathetic response stating they did everything they could to help and offer a 50% refund when they're clearly in the wrong.

Just another sham of an online company that hides behind the internet providing a terrible service and charging too much money for the insult

Distrustful Disgusting Company

Stay as far away from this company as possible. Their IT system will defraud you at every opportunity and the customer services department will run you round in circles. Just like umpteen other customers on several different review sites, I also experienced their customer services department accused me of having two accounts and the payments they direct debited from my bank account have gone to the wrong account, so its all my fault and I still have to pay the outstanding balance (twice). When I requested a refund from the imaginary second account we went round and round the houses with 58 chat messages and got nowhere. How can you possibly have a second account when orders are placed through a single Hello Fresh App? I should have realised that when a company doesn't list its office address or telephone number on it's Website or Phone App then they are a "wrongun". DONT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE.

Absolutely Dreadful Company

Food has very limited “use by” dates.

Apart from first box, vegetables aren’t very fresh.

Salads, chives going off.

Green beans covered in brown spots.

Also they don’t honour the rewards they send you.

I have been overcharged twice now, and customer service is just useless, and I’ve not been refunded.

I have now cancelled, would never use them again.

Hello Fresh

I do not know where to start but will try. I had an account opened in 2020 June for Hello Fresh and cancelled after a couple of orders because orders were wrong.

I saw an offer and logged in again 3 years later (perhaps they had improved who knows) it said because I had an account (my old one) it would not give me the offer. However, by logging on I evidently activated an AUTOMATIC order. I did not choose any menu or order and logged off again. Suddenly 4 days later, today, I receive a notice from Yodel to say my Hello Fresh order is being delivered today. I rang Hello Fresh who say it is too late to cancel what I DID NOT order. The AUTO order menus are Chefs choice and triggered when I opened the account and DID NOT CHOOSE a menu. They then went on to charge my EXPIRED card and when this was found as expired they charged my partners card that is linked to my card account BUT HAD NEVER been linked to Hello Fresh.

My bank are now raising an investigation and Hello Fresh are not refunding the charge (but offer £10 back).

BE VERY AWARE when you open an old account it triggers an AUTO order and will charge you even if card is expired (my bank said they pay a merchantservice charge to be able to move charges to a linked or new card associated to that account) - I am HORRIFIED to find this out ... So BE AWARE.

Anyway the UNWANTED ORDER was dumped on my doorstep (Hello Fresh said if I do not want it give it to someone else - but still charging me ! )

GUESS WHAT the chefs choice of food for me does not even match the menu cards included... UNBELIEVABLE

Anyway just wanted to warn people if you you use and stop using Hello Fresh - REMOVE any cards and do not reopen app again or it will trigger an auto order.

DIABOLICAL way to run a company.

Do Not Order With Hello Fresh

I was interested to try this. Wish I hadn't. My first box with the discount, was still expensive. I didn't realise I picked a meal that had a premium price...Chicken breast! This was an extra £6.00. I didn't want to order another box, but an order was placed, this apparently is done automatically as you have entered a weekly subscription and I had missed the deadline to cancel 11.59pm.I cancelled it the next day, only to be told its too late for a Friday delivery! This time I am being charged almost £40.00 for 3 meals for 2 people. I didn't pick the meals and of course they have a premium charge and £4.99 delivery! RIP OFF. Do not order with this company.

I have cancelled my subscription and cancelled and further payments with Paypal.

They information is not made very clear and if you dont cancel your order before the deadline, you ill still get your delivery and you cannot cancel.

I Cancelled This About 2 Months Ago And It’s Still

I cancelled this about 2 months ago and it’s still trying to take money off me …. Had my first box to try it and yh was good but it’s expensive and I can buy the ingredients cheaper in the shop
