I'll start by saying the products from musclefood aren't bad, although some of the frozen meals are pretty much inedible. However, their processes and service are a disgrace.

Like many of their customers, we had a repeating order and their website offers a facility to update the products you have. Beware, this often doesn't work and it is very difficult to check, especially on a mobile. The worst bit though is the service, slow, unresponsive and rude, taking to responsibility and effectively accusing me of lying.

I've now cancelled all orders and informed my bank not to make payments to these people and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

I came across this company via a Groupon offer.

it was a discounted pack and excellent value for money.

on examining their website I was pleasantly surprised to see the array of products for sale at prices vastly cheaper than the supermarkets.

Delivery is as promised and well packaged in packs that are insulated and enclosed by frozen vacuum ice packs that will keep your order cool for over 48 hours.

although I have only contacted their customer services via email I found there service to be not only prompt but very efficient.

I will be using Musclefood for all my meat products in future, and as another reviewer mentioned the syn free products on the slimming world eating plan will also be sampled.

as is usually the case, I stocked up my freezer with meat BEFORE I came across Musclefood, but once that is used up there is only one supplier for me.

the name may make you think it is a site aimed mainly at bodybuilders. it is not.

shopping for the family will bring about savings to the budget.

I was recommended by a friend to try this company, I took advantage of the offer pack on my first order which was great value and when it arrived the quality was so good I am now ordering every week.

I never use supermarkets, I hate them, the price they charge for poor quality meat means I never set foot in a supermarket so I am comparing my muscle food meats to what I normally buy at local butchers and the quality is as good.

The main reason I use muscle food is that they specialise in low fat meat and as I am doing Slimming World they have some great products that suit Slimming World.

I can highly recommend the syn free Pizzas (yes really!) and syn free ready meals (these are the BeAnimal range not all of their ready meals are syn free) I cook a lot from scratch and never notmally buy ready meals but these are good, not as good as home made of course but good for when you are short of time and they are syn free so very handy. I bought the Venison Casserole to test it and it was so good I bought several others from the range and if you buy in packs of 6 they work out cheaper so I do this and share with a friend. They also do chicken breast sausages are half a syn each and they proper big fat sausages not Linda McCartney rubbish! So I can now add a sausage to my bacon, egg and beans Slimming World breakfast.

I also buy a lot of their exotic meat, Osterich is very low fat and their osterich burgers again are syn free, I also buy other exotic meats which might not be to everyone's taste but I like them and they are low fat.

Delivery is very good and the items are all still below fridge temperature on arrival, I have found that the couple of items that I buy that are frozen tend to be thawed on arrival but as I now know this I take this in to account when buying, hopefully this is just a summer thing and in winter they will arrive frozen.

Once the 'Slimming Worlder's' catch on to this company it will be crazy!!

In a society where the supermarkets are dominent on price and variety, Muscle food is like a breath of fresh air!

What started as a website where I could order high-quality meat at a price better than the supermarkets to enable myself to build a high-protein diet for training and muscle building became the place where I now buy all my families meat on a week-to-week basis.

How this happened was really a very natural progression... Firstly I started with two of MuscleFood's highly discounted new-user packs, this provided me with a massive range of meat including chicken, turkey, Beef, Duck and Veal. So much so that two months later I still have some of my first order in the freezer.

The food is always delivered quickly and well packaged to ensure it is at it's best and just to give you an idea of the deals that you can find at Musclefood i recently bought 10 x 6-7oz Matured British Rump Steaks for £29... Thats £2.90 a steak!

Even though many people use Musclefood for athletic diets and nutrition we have found that if used smartly it can prove to be financially more beneficial than the supermarkets and the quality is defiantly as good if not better. Musclefood has changed the way we buy meat...
