Co-op Funeral Services Leicester

I arranged a cremation for my late sister who passed recently, I contacted the local co-op funeral services to arrange cremation and return the remains to me. I had to repeatedly contact them to find out what was happening and when the ashes finally arrived (£70 to have them posted to me) they were in a paper bag inside a cardboard box, this inside an old box that had held a desk fan, wrapped in brown paper, the paper bag had leaked and you can imagine my feelings as I unpacked the box with my sisters ashes everywhere.

I complained to the co-op who sent me an email saying how sorry they were and a director would be in touch, but unsurprisingly no contact yet.

All this needed was a sealed plastic container and a decent box, given the cost of the service I don’t think this would have been too much to ask.
