The Disney Store

Truly awful. Managers never phone you back, customer services mess up orders and leave you without items right before Christmas with a wimpy email telling you they are out of stock. When you finally get a callback after ringing 6 times they tell you they accidentally left your order on hold and now everything is out of stock. Probably the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I'm 33 years old and I actually cried out of frustration!!!

I bought some PJs for my daughter. When they arrived they were ripped!! I tried to get a refund and the Disney Store cast members were so rude and unhelpful. It took forever to get this resolved and it should have been simple enough. Not happy at all. They wanted them sent back before issuing the refund, which was fair enough, but they wouldn't pay the return postage! Why should I be out of pocket for their fault? I eventually got a refund after 4 weeks and countless phone calls and emails.

This review is for Disney Online and not a store.

I ordered from the online store which was straight forward and the parcel was delivered within 3 days.

On opening the box 2 plates that was part of the whole order were smashed. I used the Disney Guest service telephone number to contact them. After 10 minutes of holding on I eventually left an answer phone message to contact me.

No one did phone me back, instead sent me an email. They requested pictures of the broken plates which I sent by return.

Another email sent to me stating it would be escalated within 5-7 days. A little strange why it would take this long I tried phoning again. Over 2 days trying to reach someone, eventually got through. I explained the situation and that these are for a birthday present on the 28th November. She assured me I would receive the replacements by then.

We'll this date has come and gone. I've emailed twice again, tried leaving an answer phone message only to find their inbox is full, but still no one will reply.

Disney customer service has to be the worst I have ever experienced. Even the reviews for Disney USA are also shocking.

I employ any one thinking of ordering from their online site to think again.

I have been ordering from disney store uk and going into the stores for many years now. It is simple to set up an account and order online. I do think that orders could be shipped out alot quicker as the delivery normaly falls on the last working day that is expected. I don't know if that is a recent thing but since xmas the orders have taken longer to process. The products are good quality but the odd item I have had a problem with, my son had a stich toy and all the seams had popped, I contacted disney store who quickly responded and I was able to get a replacement sorted. Anytime I have had to contact them they have always reponded quickly and bent over backwards to make sure I am happy. I do wish some of the items were alot cheaper ie the clothes. They often have special offers/sales on so if you catch it the right time you can get a good deal. I would highly recommend the disney store.

We're regular visitors to The Disney Store Norwich and the staff are always amaizing. But today i was blown away by the caring, friendly staff. My sons just had an mri and been in and out of hospital so i took him to the store as a treat and bought him a simba teddy, i got chatting to the cashier about how i got him the teddy as hes been so brave with hospital visits. She was really kind and nice to him and then went and got him some stickers, a poster and some colouring pages, i thought that was such a nice thing for her to do.

A brilliant store with brilliant staff. Typical Disney where the customer always comes first and a level of service that is second to none. Cannot receommend highly enough.

I bought a 'Lightening McQueen Trolley Case' online from the Disney Store for my Grandson. He was absolutely delighted with his suitacase. His parents and myself were not so delighted! The plastic zip was 'kinked' in several places and therefore the opening section could not be fully utilised. The suitcase had not been out of its originally packing and I was disappointed in the quality of the product offered as I had expected much better quality from Disney Store and had previously purchased goods that were of a higher standared quality. Very disappointed on this occasion.

We love visiting The Disney Store at Cribb's Causeway in Bristol. It is a great place for gift ideas for all the family. The toys are wonderful and it doesn't just stop at toys. They sell all sorts of things: mugs, plates, bags, purses, wallets, clothing, etc.

All the wares are excellent quality, you have the Disney name behind them, and who can resist Winnie The Pooh, Eeyore, Peter Pan and Tinkerbell, and then there is Pirates of the Caribbean, and so much more! The kids will love a visit and you probably won't be able to resist buying something!

Well worth a visit this Christmas and at any other time.
