Product Did Not Work With Pathetic Service

Bought the product home and it started for a few minutes and conked off. Did nto start again. Was tough to reach the contact center and the response from them even more pathetic.

While the retailer told me about a 24 hr service, contact center said we will take 48 hours and mentioned someone from service center will call in next few hours to fix time. IT hasbeen 36 hours since and am still awaiting

Perhaps my bad luck on the product but clearly service was a big dampener. Would not recommend atleast Avent in India. Perhaps Chicco is better

Avent Express Steam Steriliser Is An Excellent Pro

Avent Express Steam Steriliser is an excellent product! Very easy to use- easy to stack bottles and can also add dummies and weaning equipment to be sterilised. Takes 5 minutes which is really handy for making instant bottles!

Avent Express Steam Steriliser Is Easy To Use And

Avent Express Steam Steriliser is Easy to use and put the bits and pieces in but very slow, takes about 18 minutes, not the 8 minutes they like you to think.

Okay, does the job, slowly

I Bought This Steriliser Before My Daughter's Birt

I bought this steriliser before my daughter's birth as it was a name I thought I could trust. I paid £39.99 for it and we stated using it in October 07. It broke down 6 months later. I have tried to contact Avent by email twice and and had no reply. I have telephoned them and as I no longer have my receipt they say it is out of guarantee and won't do anything about it even though the product they sold me is not fit for the purpose of sterilising. When I mentioned this they offered me only a 25% discount off a new steriliser and wanted to charge me £3 postage - so £33 in total - wow! Thank you Avent so v generous of you! Needless to say I will not be taking them up on the offer and am writing to complain. I will not buy Avent again. So beware!

I Know The Avent Express Steam Steriliser Is Suppo

I know the Avent Express Steam Steriliser is supposed to be one of the best sterilisers out there, but I found that if I was in a rush and had forgotten to sterilise bottles and had crying baby it always took longer than the required 8 minutes, more like 15 minutes and then you couldn't man-handle the bottles straight away unless you wanted to burn your hands. I did always put the required amount of water in and even though it is not recommended put a little less water in to make it steralise quicker.

Perhaps for the organised, efficient mum this is an excellent steriliser but for the scatterbrained kind (me!) didn't find ideal and was glad to sell in car boot sale and now am expecting second any day and have purchased a steriliser more to my needs (or personality type).

According to another user, you needed to descale the Avent Express Steam Steriliser often; about every 4 weeks, otherwise, it would take longer to sterilize. Maybe that's what the problem was with yours. Just a thought.

The Avent Express Steam Steriliser Does Exactly Wh

The Avent Express Steam Steriliser does exactly what it says on the box. Great value for money and they throw in a few free bottles aswell. Must de-scale every 4 weeks as they recommend, I would suggest every 3 weeks if you live in a hard water area. I have used mine through 2 babies now and it is still going strong and now being used by my friend, it has never let me down. The instructions are clear and concise and it couldn't be easier to use. Takes between 8-10 minutes depending on how fully loaded it is. I could get 6 bottles in and around 4 dummies aswell, make sure you check the instructions on how to load as if you don't get it just right you won't get much in! It's very simple.

We Bought The Avent Express Steam Steriliser 2003

We bought the Avent Express Steam Steriliser 2003 model for our son when he was born and we used it up until he was a year old and then sold it still in almost new condition. It came with a few free bottles and a beaker, tongs, a water measuring cup and some sachets of citric acid to descale it. It will hold most types of bottles and will sterilise an avent breast pump too. Very easy to use, stack the bottle rings on the middle bit, the teats at the bottom and the bottles on top then add the basket at the top for the lids. Can also hold dummies etc. Couldn't be simpler to switch on, fill the little jug then add water to the bottom of the steriliser, there is a ring on the bottom showing when the water level has been reached so no need to keep measuring the water every time you want to use it. Then stack all the bottles, put the lid on and switch on. Takes about 8 minutes. Should be descaled fairly often otherwise it takes longer to sterilise and we live in a hard water area so everything gets limescale more quickly. Looks great, it has aqua colour racks and lid and a white body. Would recommend to anybody.
