Good Pushchair

Pushchair is good, but the front wheel a little disappointed ... used the cradles and walking blocks. Cradles a little too narrow, that is, for the winter to the year, and if older, they can not climb.

We Purchased A Lovley Blue First Wheels Twin City

we purchased a lovley blue first wheels twin city elite pushchair after only 3 months use my front wheel snapped two weeks ago my second front wheel snapped too, both whilst crossing a road and nearly tipped over. When i phoned the helpline i spoke to a very rude lady who told me that she has had no complaints about this pram and that i was the first to complain therefore telling me that i broke it.She did not want to hear what i had to say and hung up on me.Nothing has been resolved just yet,so i will be going down Trading Standards route next. I have had to purchase another twin buggy whilst my £400 city elite sits in the cupboard.

The exact same thing happened to our First Wheels Twin Pram. Front wheels both folded over....causing children in pram to nearly fall to the ground. Disgusted with this pram.

Fantastic Buggy. Would Recommend It Every Time. A

Fantastic buggy. Would recommend it every time. Always turns heads, is easy to push and the children can face both ways. Obviously, as with any double, it's vital to check dimensions if you wish to put it in your car boot or through your front door, but the width has always been fine wherever I have taken it. The children love it too and I have yet to find any areas for improvement. I challenge anyone to find a double buggy where the children can face the parent and which looks as good as this.

Although The Visual Aspect, And Manoeuvrability Is

Although the visual aspect, and manoeuvrability is good (with the exception of getting through doorways)....The underlying build quality is terrible, not to mention DANGEROUS. Within a year of purchasing....The rear Brake mechanism stopped working, and the front wheel snapped off whilst pushing over slight bumps at a level crossing, nothing that any parent pushing their young twins wouldn't expect of this or any other similar product. That comprised with the UK Manufacturer "Cool Trade" refusing to Repair/Replace the product within the 1yrs guarentee...stating user fault..Makes this product/manufacturer a combination to highly avoid. 3mths later we have not got this resolved, fortunately could afford to buy different buggy in replacement, but...warn people against gambling there money and loved ones with this product.

I Love This Pushchair! It Was The Only One I Coul

I LOVE this pushchair! It was the only one I could find which ticked all the boxes. I can have both my children facing me, it manoeuvres beautifully, fits through every shop door I've tried, looks stylish, and reclines perfectly for the children to sleep. I would recommend in every time. Please don't be put off by some of the negative comments on this site - I genuinely fault this this pushchair.

Do Not Waste Your Money On The First Wheels City T

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE FIRST WHEELS CITY TWIN STROLLER 2009 MODEL!!! Too wide to fit through the door! So big its just impractical and the seats are too small! Ridiculous! Huge, wide frame, small seats! Also, I haven't had the experience of taking it out and about because I couldn't get the pushchair through the front door but I have read reviews from people experiencing dangers of this oversized pushchair so I wouldn't risk it!! The company I purchased this pushchair from are coming to collect it today and good riddance to it!!! I would not recommend this pushchair to my worst enemy and I strongly beleive it should be taken off the market, everyone who has experienced problems with this pushchair and First Wheels customer service should get together and take the matter to Watchdog!!!

I found your review very helpful as i bought my rubbish pram from online4baby. after 2 broken front wheels after 3 months use,i asked them to come and take my pram away and they refused. the lady i spoke to on the phone told me that they couldn't send someone out collect and look at my pram. so how did you get them to come and collect it.

First Wheels City Twin Stroller Is An Absolute Let

First Wheels City Twin Stroller is an absolute let down!!! I got a very good price from Kiddicare.com for the 2009 model but I have had to send it back! It doesnt even fit through the door, its ridiculously huge which makes it so impractical! Even if I did manage to get the pushchair through the door which is impossible, I wouldn't be able to get on buses or get it through shop doors, etc. This pushchair would be a nightmare to go out and about with, its just too big!! The seats are too small, I bought this pushchair for my 2 yr old and 8 month old so they can both face me but my 2 yr old is too tall for the seat! You would have to get this pushchair for newborn twins but will have to replace it as they get older!!

I Have Twins And Have Been Through Several Pushcha

I have twins and have been through several pushchairs before settling with this one. Mine is the new 2009 model and I have had none of the problems associated with the earler design. I find it very light and easy to push and my girls love that they can face me and see eachother and hold hands. I find the only negative is that you need a big boot.

We Have Had A First Wheels City Twin For A Year. I

We have had a First Wheels City twin for a year. It was bought in Oct 2008.

Generally we have been very happy with and it is going well.

The brake can be sticky and needs a drip of 3 in 1 oil every six months. I've tended to drop some around the wheel bearing as well.

During this autumn we started suffering from punctures and my contact with after sales was poor. They tried to tell me that the tyre could not be changed and I needed a new wheel at £35 each. I bought two new rear tyres at the local bike shop. £13.00 for two.

I understand the previous comments regarding the robustness of the front wheel and their inability to deal with 'big bumps'.

Haven't had any frame problems and love the ability to face them either way and the general flexibility. I also find the pushchair very maneouverable and light compared to the mountain buggy.

We have found it good value for money and no problems with the girls in it and the cosy toes are fabulous but it needs some TLC maintenance from time to time.

It folds reasonablely well and is similar to other similar buggies of its style.

Generally very happy with it - would buy again.
