Good Price But Design Not Great.

Loved the price tag especially in the sale. I will start off with the pros, handle height is great for shorter parents, light weight, good price and easy assembly. Cons, can't go up or down steps easily as the breaks are in the way so they scrape going down the step such as kerb. Can't go up stairs backwards at all because of the brakes. It's a bit on the flimsy side and top straps pop off the side straps easily so can be fiddly to strap baby in especially when they are wriggling. The foot rest gets in way when folding down so you have change its position before folding the buggy down. Overall ok for spare buggy or holidays but wouldn't recommend for everyday use.

Extremely Dangerous

We bought this pushchair for our one year old grandson. The first time we took him out it was a complete nightmare. The front wheels kept jamming lurching him forwards. We could not use the shoulder straps as they would not fit over his shoulders so we had to just use the straps around his waist. Even on a flat surface it was like taking him over cobblestones as the pushchair just vibrated so badly. We now have to purchase another pushchair, the only good thing is that we bought it at Aldi in their baby event and so only spent £25.

Reviewing A Hauck Sport Buggy. We Bough

Reviewing a Hauck Sport Buggy.

We bought one of these earlier this year during an ASDA Baby Event for £25 - well times because our old pushuchair had broken. It was a mistake! I guess pushchairs aren't designed to last any more - we used one for our eldest, yet 5 years later we're now on our 5th pushchair for number 2. Granted, we do an awful lot of walking - in & out of town several times a week, plus school run for the eldest. Probably upwards of 20 miles a week.

It was extremely uncomfortable to push - the handle is too low and too far forwards. The brake lever also sticks out too far, so pushing downhill takes a rather strange angle to avoid putting the brake on as you walk. With the handle so far forward, its also difficult to tip backwards to go up kerbs. I found I was using my foot to hold the back of the basket to provide a pivot point. The seat part is too short as well.

But the worst bit was that we've had to take it back already (less than 3 months later) as the tyres on the wheels are made of foam that is not dense enough and distorts very quickly, to the point that the rear tyres come off.

Thankfully, there was a baby event on when we took it back, so were able to get a replacement. There have been a few design changes since the last version. The hand is now a little higher, which makes a big difference, and the brake lever is half an inch shorter. Small differences, but they make it much better. On this one, there's even a clip to hold the buggy folded, which was missing on the previous one, although the latch for the clip was there.

Positives are the nice big basket with plenty of access room.

I guess that you do get what you pay for. If we'd paid full price for this, we'd be EXTREMELY annoyed. Just about fit for purpose as an emergency pushchair, but don't bother as a main pushchair.

Hauck Sport Stroller~~~~~~ Do Not Buy T

HAUCK SPORT STROLLER~~~~~~

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! Repeat- Do not buy!

PROS: It's cheap. It's lightweight, BUT......

CONS: This pushchair is so flimsy that I keep thinking that my little one is going to fall out (he's not big and he IS harnessed in as tightly as I can!) The whole seat back moves if child leans forward, not ideal when waiting to cross a road. The wheels are very unstable. Raincover is too small. Shopping basket inaccessible.

I wish I had read reviews before purchasing this, then I would have realised how flimsy it is, and I would have left it where it was. Don't waste your money on this pushchair, put your hard earned cash towards something decent!

I Bought This Hauck Sport Buggy As A Lightweight A

I bought this Hauck Sport Buggy as a lightweight alternative to a travel system, at a mere £30 it looked more stylish than other strollers in the same price bracket and it fully reclines which I thought was a bonus. However I was left extremely disappointed with this product, I feel that it is a severe health & safety risk and should be taken off the market immediately, not only does this buggy fling your child around with every knock, bump and curb, the harness isn't secure and when my child moved forward he took the entire backrest with him thus rocking the pushchair forward. The buggy itself is unstable and flimsy, it squeaks as it is being pushed and is a nightmare to steer, despite it having swivel wheels they become jammed and stiff. The handle bars are also inline with the break bar so it is almost impossible to walk normally with this buggy without kicking the break bar and very painful this is too - this is a common problem with this particular design of buggy and is a major design fault. The raincover provided is also too small. Stay away from this product.
