The Herqules Of Switzerland Raptor Spin 3 Is The U
The Herqules of Switzerland Raptor Spin 3 is the ultimate urban and off road pram in green and black. Puncture free tyres. Brilliant rain cover when child is either facing you or looking forwards. We bought the carry cot option which was great as we bought a seperate stand for it to use in the house, so we didn't have to buy another carry cot for the babies bedroom. The suspension ensures the child is comfy on all surfaces. Very good disc breaks for piece of mind. Would highly recommend this to everybody. It has been an absalute pleasure and it is also a bit of a head turner for when you're up town without your partner.

So Far The Herqules Of Switzerland Raptor Spin 3 H
So far the Herqules of Switzerland Raptor Spin 3 has been a good purchase. Been using it for 5 months with the carrycot. The only problem in this time being the foot brake mechanism sticking. Some lubricating spray soon resolved this. However, now it has been converted to the push chair I have noticed a design flaw which has motivated me to write this review. When the pushchair is rear facing the lap bar release buttons are obstucted by the down tubes on either side making it difficult to operate without jamming your fingers. Thankfully my daughter is a nosey so and so, and won't be rear facing for long. When the pushcair is forward facing this is not an issue. It is sturdy, well built, good suspension, puncture free tyres!!
As someone who lives in the countryside I would recommend this pushchair. I have done many miles on rough walking tracks and it shows no signs of wear and tear.
My has been far from good. I bought it second hand but it was in super order but it has been very difficult to push, heavy and the front wheel kept getting stuck. I live in the countryside and have a baby and 2 other children. We were out for a walk last week along by a canal and the front wheel suddenly sheered off. My baby went flying forward and thankfully his straps stopped him being catterpulted out of the pushchair but he has a real jerk and was quite shaken. The metal holding the wheel on had completely worn through and sheered off. This could have been so dangerous and I am not happy about it. I had to wheel the pushchair on the back wheels for 2 miles to get home. I am trying to find an address to write to Herqules and send them some photographs but am having no joy.Can anyone help? Sarah

Brilliant. Solid rubber tyres so NO PUNCTURES! Great basket. Love the hand brake on the handle bars. The carry cot that turns into a foot muff is a brilliant idea!

Love This Buggy. My 5 Month Old Son Has Been Up Ma
Love this buggy. My 5 month old son has been up many hills in his short life, around a couple of country parks and on several countryside walks. All in complete comfort. He often sleeps soundly whilst we are negotiating all sorts of terrain.
The handbrake makes steep downhill slopes much less scary and the puncture proof tyres mean no messing with repair kits in mud and rain.
I love this buggy, and the only downside is the amount of room it takes up in the boot of the car. A compromise worth making!

The Herqules Of Switzerland Raptor Spin Pushchair
The Herqules of Switzerland Raptor Spin Pushchair has superb build quality, and the suspension makes for an unequaled ride. I have owned this pram for 2 years and still cannot find any faults. You simply cannot get better for the money.
Could you please confirm the suppliers details where you purchased your Herqules pram?

I Was Looking For A Good Quality Pram That I Could
I was looking for a good quality pram that I could use indoors and outdoors, and all around my local area.
I live in the country just at the foot of the Ochil hills in Scotland, so it was also important it was sturdy off road.
The Herqules of Switzerland Raptor Spin 3 looked like a good option, and after reading on the website about it, we decided to go for it...and it has proven time and again excellent value for money.
When it first arrived it was quick and easy to assemble, and although the base unit is quite bulky, all the wheels come off if required. The front one detaches with the press of a button, and it will fit in most boots (although anything smaller than a Corsa might struggle). It comes with both a cot and buggy option, as well as a Britax car seat adapter; therefore, we can use it for everything. Although some people have complained about other 3 wheelers, I have found this to be very sturdy.
For the blokes here's the fun bit...
The Raptor 3 Spin has air suspension, and the brakes are excellent (discs..yes disc brakes!!) with a hand break on the handlebar and a foot break as well. It can turn on a penny, and I have never had any problems manoeuvring it. The wheels are a plastic sponge type substance (technical name), which are comfortable, but obviously won't puncture, which is a good bonus. Whatever you are using (cot, buggy, car seat) will clip on or off the base frame easily and in seconds, but is absolutely solid once attached!
Now for the ladies...
One of the most useful things my wife has found is the large capacity shopping basket underneath, which is the largest I have seen on any pram. She loves it, and also all the clever compartments on either the buggy or the cot for your mobile, house keys, letters etc., which are secured either with Velcro or a zip. All of the covers are removable and machine washable, which is great.
What else can I say? We are extremely happy with it. I am planning on taking the farm track up the Ochil's to the summit of Dumayat hill with my 4 month old son in the Raptor, and I have no qualms that it will get us there and back. Clever folk these Swiss!
Please where do you all buy them from i have searched and searched? Many thanks
Excellent review, mate. The Herqules of Switzerland Raptor Spin 3 sounds tops!

Overall, I Am Very Happy With The Herqules Of Swit
Overall, I am very happy with the Herqules of Switzerland Raptor Spin 3 pushchair, which I purchased with the carry-cot option. Good value for money!
After about 6 months of use the front wheel would no longer turn for me. Due to being back in New Zealand it was a bit difficult to get it fixed. Luckily my father was able to add a teflon disc in there to fix it and it now swivels again. I tried grease prior to this, but you end up with a huge greasy mess all over your hands every time you take the wheel off!

I Really Wanted A Jane Slalom Pro, But The Price P
I really wanted a Jane Slalom Pro, but the price put me off, especially as you have to pay extra for a cosy toes and a rain cover, unless you want the all singing all dancing travel system, which I didn't. When you add it up for the pushchair and the two accessories you are looking at about £400. Anyway, I did some research and found a pushchair I had never heard off before, Herqules of Switzerland Raptor Spin 3. They are a Swiss company that sell all terrain pushchairs and their website is pretty good, so take a look. They are currently sold at the Glasgow Pram Centre and Lullabys, which are both on line, they may be elsewhere too but I couldn't find them. The pushchair looks great, has an aluminium frame, nifty hand break, is very padded, has a large hood with loads of pockets in the back, including phone holder, key ring tab, and others. The fabric is really durable (which is what I liked about Jane too), and it has adjustable suspension, non air tyres, so no pumping them up or getting punctures, apparently they look like the inside of an aero if you dissect one! It also has a large shopping basket, the largest I have seen on any 3 wheeler, which makes it useful for day trips out and shopping. It even fits into the back of my Smart Car if I take the chair off of the chassis, which is just the push of a button, or I suppose I could take the wheels off which too easily click off. In addition there is a carry cot you can get to add on and something to put infants in so you can take them off while they are asleep, but I didn't get these as my daughter is 7 months. My daughter loves it, she mainly likes to sit up and hold on to the padded handle bar and have a good look out! It's been no problem on the rough ground where we live so I am very satisfied with its performance! Now, the price, I got it from the Glasgow Pram Centre for £245 with a foot muff extra for £27, all a good deal cheaper than a Jane Slalom Pro and I'm sure I am just as pleased. I definitely have a bigger basket and some left over cash to put some shopping in it!
The only negative point is it came partially assembled, had to put the wheels on, just an Allen key job, so not too taxing! Apart form that, I can't think of any bad points about it! I don't know why these aren't in regular shops. Hope this has been of help!

This link will give you a list of retailers, although there aren't many.
Ive been looking and searching desperately, because I'm due in 3 weeks and 6 days, and I have a Quinny, but concerned that it is not going to be good enough. I cannot find a place that sells them.
Anyone know of a stockist/website/prices for these Herqules of Switzerland Raptor Spin 3 pushchairs? Rarer than rocking horse poo by the looks of things!!! Thanks
