Still Using It
Been using this Jane Powertwin stroller approx 3 years now. Really fantastic. Kids are 5 and 3 years old now. The 5 year old insists sitting in the front while the 3 year old is very happy in the back.
We use it for e.g. Disneyland, and bringing the kids to school (20 minutes walk).
It's never let us down. Very easy to manoeuvre, easy to push, stable (although the single front wheel sometimes can be tricky).
We've used it on most of our holidays, even walking in the Swiss Alps on rough terrain.
And, what in fact ARE the alternatives when you have 2 kids? Side-by-side strollers really don't do it. With those it's close to impossible getting through normal doors, even walking on a not-to-wide pavement in the city. How about a standing board on a light stroller? Tried it; really terrible/impractical. Two strollers, one for each kid? Tried that too; not workable. One kid walking, the other in the stroller? Fine for short distances but e.g. a whole day at Disney is a crime.
Disadvantages? We absolutely disagree with those reviewers mentioning the size of the front seat. It's absolutely fine. A kid up to about 2 years old will be able to sit under the cover. When older & you insist on the kid not getting her vitamin D exposure to the sun, than buy one of those snap on sun-umbrella's. Perfect and it'll cost you USD 20 at most. Our 5 year old still sits in the front without trouble.
The only disadvantage we see is that the powertwin is really quite bulky after folding, with the front wheel sticking out annoyingly. It's not a huge disadvantage though.

I Bought A Second Hand Jane Powertwin Tandem For M
I bought a second hand Jane Powertwin tandem for my children who are 15 months apart and I have to say I loved it! I kept it until the youngest was 2 and it served me very well. It was so light and manouverable and even with a couple of fairly heavy toddlers on board it was still quite easy to push.
I'd love to give it five stars but it did have a few niggly points that others have mentioned. Things to bear in mind if you're purchasing are:
- It's quite big when collapsed - if you've got a very small car you may struggle to get it in the boot. It's also quite heavy and awkward to move when collapsed, I'm not a weakling and I used to struggle to lift it into my car.
- The basket is quite small and if you've got the raincover in there you can hardly fit anything else.
- The front child's feet are within easy access of the front wheel - this is fine when they're old enough to understand they need to keep their feet on the footboard but could be an issue with younger or sleeping children. If their feet are dangling they can get caught in the wheel when changing direction - this happened to my daughter several times although luckily it never seemed to hurt her.
- It is quite unstable when encountering sideways slopes such as drop kerbs - the pavement on my road is quite narrow with many drop kerbs and I strained my wrists a couple of times trying to hold the pram level while going down it.
However, having said that I would certainly buy another one and the pros of this pram for me far outweighed the cons. It was a lovely pram to use over rough ground and I found it to be very hardy. It's now been passed on to a friend and it's still going strong. I think all tandems and twins have some minus points - I also owned a cosatto duo lite and I far preferred the Jane because of it's superior manouverability.

Absolutley Love The Jane Powertwin Pro For My 2 Ye
Absolutley love the Jane powertwin pro for my 2 year old and 8 week old children. It is quite lightweight for a double and easy to fold. A pleasure to push with the adjustable suspension and both children are very comfortable. A great looking pram (mines marine) and I've had many compliments from friends. I often use on buses without any trouble and easy to manouvre round shops. Living in a very hilly area means the front brake is fantastic for keeping the pram under control when going downhill and the rear brake is very secure when applied. Only negetives are - it has a tendency to tip when going up kerbs if the front wheel isn't locked. Also could do with a bigger shopping basket.

Got A 22 Month Old And A 3 Week Old. The Powertwin
Got a 22 month old and a 3 week old. The powertwin pram is really easy to push and soo smooth, being a very tired single mum, you really notice this.
Lots of slopes in my area so no problems going up lots of curbs, but the ones i do, are no trouble. If you go up high curbs, then make sure you have the front wheel locked!!! I have a large step up to my front door...common sense tells you to lock the front wheel otherwise it will tip! der!
My 22 month old is pretty tall and his feet dangle near the wheel but hasnt caught his feet so far, although hes pretty good and happily keeps his legs up on the foot rest. The shopping bag is a little small, but being a single mum, i order everything i can onine, and just pop out to get odd bits and bobs when needed.

I Love My Jane Powertwin Pro With Strata Car Seats
i love my jane powertwin pro with strata car seats. i could not live without it. it is so easy to steer. nothing is out of bounds. i was so worried when i found out i was having twins that i would be quite restricted. not with my pram it isn't! i can get it on the low rise buses, in and around shops its even been on the beach. it can be a bit tricky to get up curbs but nothing i cant deal with! its easy to get in and out of the car and its only as heavy as any other buggy. i also walk for miles with my pram. i cannot comment on the buggy bit yet as my boys are only 11 weeks old. the strata car seats are easily put on though and the boys fall instantly asleep in them so they cant be bad!! ha ha

I Absalutley Love My Jane Powertwin Pram Pro With
I absalutley love my Jane Powertwin Pram pro with strata car seats, Ive had no issues whatsoever.
I found that the powertwin is very sturdy and comfortable for my 3months and 1 year old. I was given a side by side pushchair for my 2 children and I absalutley hated it! Try getting through a door way with one of them! However with my powertwin its compact enough for me to get through door ways and I no longer need help!!
The Strata is also so handy as it has the iso-fix base!
I would most definatley recommend this pushchair to anyone, who wants a baby jogger when you have the powertwin!!

I Love The Powertwin As It Is So Easy To Push It J
i love the powertwin as it is so easy to push it just glides along cause of the bearing run wheels ,i love the way i can have one in the rear and one at the front in the strata this way the heavier childs weight over the rear axle makes for easier control, and that my son does nt feel left out as he can interact with his new sister who is facing him and myself. i have had other buggies but this stands well above the rest

This Jane Powertwin Pram Pushchair Is Very Easy To
This Jane Powertwin Pram pushchair is very easy to push round the shops, my twins are 4 weeks old and the Strata car seats make the puschair very adaptable.
I live on top of a hill so the hand brake comes in very handy!!
My mother gave me a side by side lightweight stroller for when shopping however I prefer to use the powertwin as access to shops is far easier than a side by side!!
Very easy to steer, fits in my car and my childrem are comfortable!
I found this review helpful because...i agree with the comments made and whole heartedly believe this to be best solution for families with multiple young children. I recommend this to everyone I know or meet who have young children or are expecting an addition to their family.

The Jane Powertwin Pram Is A Fantastic Alround Twi
The Jane Powertwin Pram is a fantastic alround twin puschair. I have 3 year old and 9 month old and goes everywhere with us. Three year old in the front seat while 9 month old in the rear using the strata car seat. Having the large wheels makes it a dream to push, nothing gets in its way and having the front swivel wheel makes it so easy to manoeuvre. The front seat reclines to allow our older son to snooze when required but likes to look around most of the time.

I can't figure out how to fix my Jane Koss car seat to my dual traveller. Can anyone help? Do I need an attachment?
